I saw Dokken here at Alive! @ 5. Truly a very nice venue and concert series. Although it was hot, there was a nice breeze off the river. The sound wasn’t great, but they tried to dial it in during the show. Mellow crowd, beers were reasonable, unobtrusive police presence… I’m coming back. The restroom facilities were a little undersized, and I think the women’s was out-of-service, but that will probably be repaired if it hasn’t already.

Their accomplishment involving the site is arguably of much greater significance than any achieved by the 74th or any other...
Read moreJennings Landing is a beautiful place. I moved from Albany in 1996 and this wonderful park and bridge were built in 2002. I've recently moved back to here and checked it out today. My only disappointment is the shoddy cement work. The plazas and walks are riddled with cracks and parts are already crumbling. And it's only 15 years old. It's surrounded by 19th century buildings that have held the test of time what...
