999 Market — Attraction in City of Rochester

I give this one a 4. There's a good selection of various items in the store. The prepared foods are always warm and fresh, nice and tasty. BUT!! I won't give it the full 5 only because of the unlimited amount of drug dealers I keep seeing lingering at the store's entrance and in the parking lot. This store is located in Rochester's beautiful South Side on a notoriously quiet street corner. Drug dealers are easy to notice as a result and they tarnish both the store and the neighborhood. The fact that no one tells these polluters to get a move on, is very disturbing. For the second time I have been to this store and been ignored at the deli counter. The first time I left because I was ignored. The second time my sub had been made and paid for and no one called me to the counter to pick it up. They did give a gentleman his sub and just put mine to the side. Best steak sub I have had in Rochester, lots of meat, flavorful and cheap. A large for $7 is a great deal considering I had other steak subs that are more expensive and had less meat and flavor.
