University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry — Attraction in City of Rochester

Terrible when it comes to visitors and what information they tell you. My sister is currently in this place and apparently I can’t visit her. When my mom called them, they told us “only two set visitors can show up to visit the patient.” Nowhere on the pamphlet did it say that. The pamphlet says “immediate family members are welcome to visit during the day” and “other family and friends may visit Monday-Friday”. Also, they said it’s a rule due to covid. Everybody in our family is vaccinated including my sister (the patient) + we haven’t been near anybody with covid at all. Thanks to the hospital to telling us about this policy, my brother and father have wasted just about 3 and a half hours of their day going to visit, told they can’t, and driving back. Also, what happened to the no electronics thing? Everybody was told she was not allowed near electronics, but all of a sudden, she’s allowed to have a zoom meeting via iPad? They just broke their own rule which was already stupid in the first place. This whole place...

Spent 6 hours at this hospital. They don't seem to do anything but COVID. I told them multiple times I didn't have COVID but they wouldn't be convinced so they sent me home with no diagnosis, convinced they were right. Got my negative test result from them this morning but that doesn't help my 101 fever. People need to trust that a hospital will actually do their job instead of just assuming they know. Really scary and pathetic to think how many people this has...

Horrible if I could rate 0 stars I would. Honestly this has to be the most worst medical center in the US. It makes every other center pool bad this place should've been shut down from the start I hope they know how to deal with lawsuits better then they're students/patients cause by the way this place is running they're gonna have a fun time in court. Come to this place at your own risk. Waste of time, waste of money, and waste of tax...
