Food was amazing but the salad bar was not being restocked often and most of what I wanted wasn't available. However, I had nothing but drama from the staff. I was taking photos like most everyone does and I kept being "spoken to" regarding this. Asking what I was doing and why. They accused me of making a documentary when I had a phone call and told me to "stop recording right now" I explained I was on a call and the images I had taken was for my own personal use. The food etc. Repeatedly I was told to stop now and asked what I was doing. They claimed me taking photos was disturbing to other guests and staff. Even here on Google maps there is over 200 images taken at this restaurant by guests. I was approached by a waitress and I believe the manager. The waitress only asked what I was doing and stated since I came in all I did was take photos and left it at that. The manager approached my table and was rude and aggressively telling me to stop now, stop right now, stop recording she just wanted to talk to me about what I was doing. (although I wasn't recording anything) and accused me of making a documentary. It was ludicrous and embarrassing. I have never had an issue taking still images of food and a restaurant before and it is a common practice these days. There was no need for me to be approached let alone treated with hostility causing me to be uncomfortable to the point I was unable to enjoy my meal that I forked out almost $60 for. I felt harassed and annoyed. BELOW are the images I took. Why there was such a issue is beyond me. And if recieving a face time call from your wife who is in another country at the moment is such an issue in today's world of technology then I guess I was in the wrong after all. I explained serval times it was a face time call from my wife who was overseas. I was "making a documentary" apparently. They could have kindly asked me to step outside to finish my call if there was such a issue for them regarding this. I had a headset on was and having quiet conversation. As I said, I won't be returning to such a hostile and rude environment where I should have been able to enjoy my meal and been able to take a few images since there was no signs stating otherwise nor any indication I was unable to talk on the phone. Maybe this was a rude practice but not against the law. Respect your customers or lose them!!! - Side note and only positive comment regarding my experience; the staff who brought the meat to the table. They were polite and made efforts to continually ask me if I needed anything. Sadly due to management I didn't leave a tip as I felt it wasn't deserved. REPLY TO OWNER. THERE WAS NO VIDEO TAPING. IT WAS A FACE TIME CALL. MY WIFE CALLED ME AND WE COULD SEE ONE ANOTHER. SHE IS IN AUSTRALIA ATM. WE INFORMED THE STAFF OFF THIS. EVIDENCE OF SUCH CALL CAN BE PROVIDED. THE TIME AND LENGTH OF THE VIDEO CALL. YOU CAN NOT RECORD A VIDEO AND BE ON A VIDEO WITH A PERSON AT THE SAME TIME. THE STAFF WAS SHOWN THE CALL WHEN THEY RUDELY APPROACHED MY TABLE. THEY LEFT ONCE THEY WITNESSED A CALL. THEY ARE LYING TO YOU AND I AM EVEN MORE ANNOYED THEN I WAS BEFORE! But dont worry.. I wont be back nor will I ever suggest this horrible, insulting, lying restuarant ever again.

We went to this restaurant on Saturday evening around 5:30 pm. It was very busy. This is a nice restaurant inside, and it looks and feels upscale. Overall, the food was best at the cold salad bar and hot side foods. They looked fantastic and tasted really good. The service at our table was not so good. We were asked if medium rare meats were good, which we said yes. Meat carver stops at our table were few, with pork, bacon wrapped chicken, and ribs coming by. One stop was made with bacon wrapped filet, which was way too salty. The other meats were too salty, too. I saw other reviewers say meats were too salty, also. Beef sirloin came by, which we were told was medium rare... it was rare... maybe raw (see the picture), too bloody for us. Our waitress told us she would have someone come over with medium rare; we never saw that happen. The meat carvers came to our table with skewered shrimp and spicy filet after we finished eating... these meats were not offered to us for more than an hour that we were there. Skewers of shrimp passed by our table many times with the meat servers, but they never stopped at our table until we were finished eating. The biggest problem here is that meats are not brought around to all tables evenly or in any particular order that we could observe. We each got about 4 pieces of meats, maybe 1 - 2 oz each, which included the bloody sirloin steak. Another problem was that meat carvers did not understand English nor speak it, which was a big problem. The meats we were served were way too salty. Getting meat served at your table is $22 more per person over the $32 salad bar price. It was not worth it in quantity served nor quality. The cold bar ran out of some food. The hot shrimp soup baine marie went empty at the hot foods area, and it was not refilled. The mens room was out of hand wash soap and paper towels. This is not what we would expect from an upscale restaurant. Overall, it was very disappointing, especially after spending $155+ for two. It's hard to recommend this restaurant to others. They need to improve customer table service and stop over salting meats! Ownership should read reviews posted here by customers and see the same things often written: too much salt in meat, too few visits to tables by meat carvers, and undercooked meat.

This place is the absolute bomb. First, the atmosphere is great. It feels like you're in an amazing space. The decor is fabulous, there are based in cases (rhyme) and big beautiful windows, and an absolutely massive fake plant over by the salad bar. The way it works is you sit down and there is a piece of paper where you order what you want from the salad bar (because covid-19). You write your name on the slip and they bring you your order. While you wait for that food and the meat to start, they bring you some interesting cheesy bread, mashed potatoes, and baked bananas covered in cinnamon sugar. Then, the MEAT STARTS. The waiters walk a certain route around the restaurant carrying different cuts of meat, chicken, beef, pork, and lamb. They cut what you want and you use little tongs to grab them. You have a small token that is green on one side and red on the other to indicate when or not you want them to keep the meat coming. This is an utterly fabulous place. When they are busy, the meat comes a little more slowly, but that is understandable, no? The waiters are super polite and kind, keep their masks on and when they are touching something you might eat they wear gloves, too. I really appreciate their attention to detail. It might be somewhat pricey, but it is a steakhouse, after all. And you do get what you pay for.

Short Public Review

A 5-Star Turnaround – All Thanks to Ray

As someone who used to visit Texas de Brazil after every Army training cycle as a personal tradition, it’s been disappointing to see the quality decline over my last few visits — slow food rotation, inattentive gauchos, and a lack of value for the price. This visit was meant to be our last — a farewell dinner using up our gift cards.

But our server Ray changed everything. From start to finish, his attentiveness, communication, and genuine hospitality completely turned our experience around. When a rare steak came out blue, Ray immediately corrected it without hesitation. He managed the table like a seasoned pro, communicating with the kitchen and gauchos fluidly while keeping an eye on us the whole time.

Ray restored our faith in Texas de Brazil — and single-handedly earned this 5-star review. Give that man a raise.

In-Depth Review

To Management at Texas de Brazil:

I’m writing this as someone with a long-standing relationship with your brand. After every Army training event, I used to treat myself and others to a celebratory dinner at Texas de Brazil. It became a tradition — one I looked forward to and spoke highly of.

Unfortunately, over my past three visits, I’ve watched that enthusiasm decline. The food rotation was inconsistent, meat service slow or incomplete, and while the servers were kind, they weren’t attentive in the way a higher-end experience demands. The “celebration” aspect faded, and I stopped recommending the restaurant to others. This most recent visit — using up gift cards — was meant to be our last.

But then we met Ray.

From the moment we were seated, Ray was attentive without hovering, professional without being cold, and entirely in control of the experience. Despite clearly managing multiple tables, he made us feel like we were his only priority. When a gaucho brought us a steak that was claimed to be medium rare but was clearly blue, Ray stepped in the moment he found out. He apologized, had the correct cut brought out immediately, and made sure it didn’t happen again.

What impressed me most was that Ray wasn’t just doing “his” job — he was monitoring the dining room, adjusting for the kitchen’s flow, and bridging communication between guests and the back-of-house with total confidence. His experience in fine dining showed in every interaction, and it was clear he cared deeply about the guest experience, not just the tasks on his section card.

Because of Ray, what was meant to be a final visit became a reminder of why I used to love Texas de Brazil. His respect, attention to detail, and professionalism were a 180 from what we had grown used to. He’s the kind of staff member that deserves real recognition — not just a thank-you, but a spotlight.

Please make sure Ray is acknowledged for his exceptional service. His presence changed our impression of your...

Had a reservation for 7:15 yesterday (Sunday). Arrived on time to be told it will be some time to be seated.. when we were finally seated, I noticed there was an abundance of open tables, so not sure why we had to wait at all considering we had a reservation. We sat and watched waitresses go to every table that was already sat, bringing them bread, drinks, and catering to them
. Continued to sit and wait
with no menus, no water, nothing. Waited 12 minutes for someone to come to the table to welcome us
12 minutes. The guy who looked in charge who was serving the meat even kept looking at our table
probably wondering why we hadn’t been welcomed or anything. 12 minutes is an extremely long time to wait at your table with no kind of interaction whatsoever. I’ve been here when every single table was full and been waited on right away. Half the restaurant was empty
. So why? I was about to get up and leave until the lady finally came over. Went up to get food from the salad bar
so many items were missing, there was hardly any clean plates set out to get your food, and there was only 2 clean bowls out for the bisque. Seemed like they hadn’t replenished any of the food long before we got there
. My fiancé was excited to try the beans and opened up the lid only to find remnants and burnt scrapings left behind
wasn’t enough stuff to even fill a plate and some of the stuff I did get was old. The lobster bisque which is one of our favorites was down to the end and had such a bad burnt flavor. Ordered a drink and 5 minutes later the lady comes back to say they are out of the ingredients, so had to wait even longer to actually get a drink
told them we like the meat cooked medium
every single piece of meat that came was WELL DONE, not a lick of pink. Changed our preference to med rare thinking it would help but continued to get well done food. Hardly ate anything
waitress asked us how it was and we told her how none of it was enjoyable
and you could clearly see how little we are and the disappointment on our faces
. Didn’t offer us any kind of discount or anything. I feel like I was robbed 110 dollars
how can you charge so much money for such a terrible experience? I don’t care if it’s Sunday night an hour and a half before close, it should be as consistent as the busiest night of the week when everything is fresh and full. If I could give a 0 star I would. Based on this experience I could never recommend coming here, as you’d be happier at home eating a frozen pizza
at least you won’t feel like you’ve been robbed. If customers aren’t happy, something should be done by management to appease them. I...
