Food was amazing but the salad bar was not being restocked often and most of what I wanted wasn't available. However, I had nothing but drama from the staff. I was taking photos like most everyone does and I kept being "spoken to" regarding this. Asking what I was doing and why. They accused me of making a documentary when I had a phone call and told me to "stop recording right now" I explained I was on a call and the images I had taken was for my own personal use. The food etc. Repeatedly I was told to stop now and asked what I was doing. They claimed me taking photos was disturbing to other guests and staff. Even here on Google maps there is over 200 images taken at this restaurant by guests. I was approached by a waitress and I believe the manager. The waitress only asked what I was doing and stated since I came in all I did was take photos and left it at that. The manager approached my table and was rude and aggressively telling me to stop now, stop right now, stop recording she just wanted to talk to me about what I was doing. (although I wasn't recording anything) and accused me of making a documentary. It was ludicrous and embarrassing. I have never had an issue taking still images of food and a restaurant before and it is a common practice these days. There was no need for me to be approached let alone treated with hostility causing me to be uncomfortable to the point I was unable to enjoy my meal that I forked out almost $60 for. I felt harassed and annoyed. BELOW are the images I took. Why there was such a issue is beyond me. And if recieving a face time call from your wife who is in another country at the moment is such an issue in today's world of technology then I guess I was in the wrong after all. I explained serval times it was a face time call from my wife who was overseas. I was "making a documentary" apparently. They could have kindly asked me to step outside to finish my call if there was such a issue for them regarding this. I had a headset on was and having quiet conversation. As I said, I won't be returning to such a hostile and rude environment where I should have been able to enjoy my meal and been able to take a few images since there was no signs stating otherwise nor any indication I was unable to talk on the phone. Maybe this was a rude practice but not against the law. Respect your customers or lose them!!! Side note and only positive comment regarding my experience; the staff who brought the meat to the table. They were polite and made efforts to continually ask me if I needed anything. Sadly due to management I didn't leave a tip as I felt it wasn't deserved.
REPLY TO OWNER.
THERE WAS NO VIDEO TAPING. IT WAS A FACE TIME CALL. MY WIFE CALLED ME AND WE COULD SEE ONE ANOTHER. SHE IS IN AUSTRALIA ATM. WE INFORMED THE STAFF OFF THIS. EVIDENCE OF SUCH CALL CAN BE PROVIDED. THE TIME AND LENGTH OF THE VIDEO CALL. YOU CAN NOT RECORD A VIDEO AND BE ON A VIDEO WITH A PERSON AT THE SAME TIME. THE STAFF WAS SHOWN THE CALL WHEN THEY RUDELY APPROACHED MY TABLE. THEY LEFT ONCE THEY WITNESSED A CALL. THEY ARE LYING TO YOU AND I AM EVEN MORE ANNOYED THEN I WAS BEFORE! But dont worry.. I wont be back nor will I ever suggest this horrible, insulting, lying...

A 5-Star Turnaround â All Thanks to Ray
As someone who used to visit Texas de Brazil after every Army training cycle as a personal tradition, itâs been disappointing to see the quality decline over my last few visits â slow food rotation, inattentive gauchos, and a lack of value for the price. This visit was meant to be our last â a farewell dinner using up our gift cards.
But our server Ray changed everything. From start to finish, his attentiveness, communication, and genuine hospitality completely turned our experience around. When a rare steak came out blue, Ray immediately corrected it without hesitation. He managed the table like a seasoned pro, communicating with the kitchen and gauchos fluidly while keeping an eye on us the whole time.
Ray restored our faith in Texas de Brazil â and single-handedly earned this 5-star review. Give that man a raise.

In-Depth Review
To Management at Texas de Brazil:
Iâm writing this as someone with a long-standing relationship with your brand. After every Army training event, I used to treat myself and others to a celebratory dinner at Texas de Brazil. It became a tradition â one I looked forward to and spoke highly of.
Unfortunately, over my past three visits, Iâve watched that enthusiasm decline. The food rotation was inconsistent, meat service slow or incomplete, and while the servers were kind, they werenât attentive in the way a higher-end experience demands. The âcelebrationâ aspect faded, and I stopped recommending the restaurant to others. This most recent visit â using up gift cards â was meant to be our last.
But then we met Ray.
From the moment we were seated, Ray was attentive without hovering, professional without being cold, and entirely in control of the experience. Despite clearly managing multiple tables, he made us feel like we were his only priority. When a gaucho brought us a steak that was claimed to be medium rare but was clearly blue, Ray stepped in the moment he found out. He apologized, had the correct cut brought out immediately, and made sure it didnât happen again.
What impressed me most was that Ray wasnât just doing âhisâ job â he was monitoring the dining room, adjusting for the kitchenâs flow, and bridging communication between guests and the back-of-house with total confidence. His experience in fine dining showed in every interaction, and it was clear he cared deeply about the guest experience, not just the tasks on his section card.
Because of Ray, what was meant to be a final visit became a reminder of why I used to love Texas de Brazil. His respect, attention to detail, and professionalism were a 180 from what we had grown used to. Heâs the kind of staff member that deserves real recognition â not just a thank-you, but a spotlight.
Please make sure Ray is acknowledged for his exceptional service. His presence changed our impression of your...
Read moreHad a reservation for 7:15 yesterday (Sunday). Arrived on time to be told it will be some time to be seated.. when we were finally seated, I noticed there was an abundance of open tables, so not sure why we had to wait at all considering we had a reservation. We sat and watched waitresses go to every table that was already sat, bringing them bread, drinks, and catering to themâŠ. Continued to sit and wait⊠with no menus, no water, nothing. Waited 12 minutes for someone to come to the table to welcome us⊠12 minutes. The guy who looked in charge who was serving the meat even kept looking at our table⊠probably wondering why we hadnât been welcomed or anything. 12 minutes is an extremely long time to wait at your table with no kind of interaction whatsoever. Iâve been here when every single table was full and been waited on right away. Half the restaurant was emptyâŠ. So why? I was about to get up and leave until the lady finally came over. Went up to get food from the salad bar⊠so many items were missing, there was hardly any clean plates set out to get your food, and there was only 2 clean bowls out for the bisque. Seemed like they hadnât replenished any of the food long before we got thereâŠ. My fiancĂ© was excited to try the beans and opened up the lid only to find remnants and burnt scrapings left behind⊠wasnât enough stuff to even fill a plate and some of the stuff I did get was old. The lobster bisque which is one of our favorites was down to the end and had such a bad burnt flavor. Ordered a drink and 5 minutes later the lady comes back to say they are out of the ingredients, so had to wait even longer to actually get a drink⊠told them we like the meat cooked medium⊠every single piece of meat that came was WELL DONE, not a lick of pink. Changed our preference to med rare thinking it would help but continued to get well done food. Hardly ate anything⊠waitress asked us how it was and we told her how none of it was enjoyable⊠and you could clearly see how little we are and the disappointment on our facesâŠ. Didnât offer us any kind of discount or anything. I feel like I was robbed 110 dollars⊠how can you charge so much money for such a terrible experience? I donât care if itâs Sunday night an hour and a half before close, it should be as consistent as the busiest night of the week when everything is fresh and full. If I could give a 0 star I would. Based on this experience I could never recommend coming here, as youâd be happier at home eating a frozen pizza⊠at least you wonât feel like youâve been robbed. If customers arenât happy, something should be done by management to appease them. I...
