Sicilian Pizzeria — Restaurant in City of Schenectady

I don't know where to start. Let's start off with the cons and the only con. We where traveling through the area and staying at a local hotel and the front desk said it was the best. It seems to be in a very shady area. Outside we felt very uncomfortable especially looking at the house next to the parking lot but once inside more than safe. All the help inside was incredibly friendly and very nice. Just great people inside. Now onto the food. We got the Sicilian slices because why wouldn't you if they offer it! So I dont know when the last time I had Sicilian pizza and I do enjoy it. Well let me tell you that I also can't remember the last time I have had pizza of any style that was this good! Excellent job and hope I will be able to find something. That compares to this again in my travels. Thank you so much for the great personalities and the outstanding pizzas. OH. MY. YES. This Pie! Yes...this is the pizza joint you are looking for if you want to really indulge in a deep dish...and Chicago husband approved. The crust is perfect..crispy and even caramelized on the outside but slightly doughy and chewy on the inside....you can tell the pans they use are truly seasoned with years of use...and it adds to the flavor! Loaded with toppings (we had Pep & Pineapple) and cheesy goodness. Now, don't go thinking you are going to a 'restaurant' this is "pizza and good food, mainly to go" place. They have 3 small tables and a cooler for drinks...but the pizza is so hot it probably will be perfect by the time you get home. I was near the area on an appointment when my stomache started to roar and I'd googled a good place to eat a slice of pizza. I came to tgis place in which it was only 3 miles away from me and I'd ordered a Chicken Parm Sandwich and the lady asked me if I wanted fries or onion rings. I'd asked her for how much and she replied, $8.63.... I was shocked of the price cause just a sandwich costs that much. Well, the sandwich, French fries and a Soda was the best I'd ever had.
