iFixRepair — Attraction in City of Utica

If I could rate this place 10 stars I would gladly do so. I almost went to a repair shop in New Hartford to fix the cracked screen on my son's iPhone but I am so glad I didn't. Met with Alex at the store, he was extremely busy but was able to find the time to get this phone fixed and quickly. I'm talking within 2 hours of me walking in without an appointment or even a phone call that I was on the way. So polite, respectful and appreciative for the business. (You don't find that in many businesses these days unfortunelty) Free screen protector given and backs his work with a warranty. If you're looking for a reputable business, you'd be making a mistake by not choosing ifixrepair. I read 1 bad review on here and I know that person needs to have their head examined. Sometimes there is more to the story than what we're able to read. Thank you so much Alex for being honest and remaining true, what unfortunately is difficult to find these days. This place is phenomenal! Brought in my cracked iPhone 8 Plus and the dude gave me 2 options: aftermarket screen for $70 or an original apple screen for $140. He said that the aftermarket one will have a slightly lower resolution though, which is to be expected. I chose this option for the value and was completely satisfied with the purchase. He said it would take 40 minutes and it took about 20. Also threw me a screen protector on the house. Another thing that sets this place apart from the rest is that they have a vacuum seal machine to make the phone waterproof again and to properly fix the screen the the device. The resolution difference really isn’t much, but it will be noticeable if you hold a phone with the aftermarket screen next to a phone with its original. Overall, I would recommend this place to anyone for any tech repairs, parts, virus removal, memory backup, or replacements. I recently went into iFixRepair to get the screen of my iPhone XR fixed. It was having "ghost touch" issues and then ultimately the screen image started becoming out of sync. Not only did Alex quote me a very reasonable price - unfortunately I am very familiar with iPhone screen repair quotes - he was also fast, kind and professional. 6 months ago I had my screen fixed by a different place and was suspicious that their handy work was what caused the issues in my screen today. Alex was able to confirm that with me by showing me the areas of my old screen that weren't properly sealed off. He then showed me the machinery iFix uses to make sure the screen is properly installed. On top of that, he gave me a free screen protector!
