EVERYONE has an attitude there. Not one smile or greeting. Almost as if us (the customers) showing up to play bowling annoyed them. I called during the week to ask questions on how to reserve lanes and specifically asked if there were bowling leagues on Saturday. I COULDN'T EVEN GET AN ANSWER TO THAT! She needed information from me that I didnât have because once again I was INQUIRING about the process. I believe her name might be Mary (short white hair usually behind the food counter). Instead of her saying yes we have leagues that start at this time and end at this time and so on, She said âwell when are you looking to come?â. I said Saturday at 9 pm. She saidâoh yea there will be lanes they finish at 6:30pm.â Usually when you call a place to book it for a party they give you information on what is needed. Itâs like pulling teeth in order to get some clarity and the sarcasm from her over the phone was crazy. I called back when I had the information she needed and I was asked to put a deposit down to hold 9pm (even MORE sarcasm when I called back). I asked if I send ppl there at 8pm to get lanes for 9pm is that ok because it was an adult party and wasnât paying for everyone. She said yup that works. My people get there at 7:55pm and we treated so disrespectfully and were told they have to wait an hour(which was ok because we wanted 9pm). The woman told my guests (with an attitude) I donât know why everyone keeps saying they are here for a party!! She called and only inquired!! Well yea because making a reservation with you is so damn hard AND they are saying they are here for a party because they are! 9:30pm comes around and we were told 30 more minutes. We were about to leave when finally we got lanes a little after 10pm. A lot of people left but at the end of the day we made a good time out of it. Iâm sure this complaint wonât go anywhere as a lot of complaints now donât mean anything. Just completely disappointed with the lack of customer service and unbelievably lack of communication and sarcasm! Which makes me feel they did it even more...
   Read moreGreat venue and staff!
The photos on Google and especially outdoors view don't do the venue justice. There are lanes on both sides of the interior plus a lovely retro-feeling center. Art above the lanes was beautiful. Bowling balls and shoes felt clean despite us still being in the long stretch of perturbing Covid years.
The staff members were wonderful to us. We called about eight times total to check pricing for a decently-sized group that really couldn't afford a party rate. Phone was answered 7/8 times, which is better than all the other bowling places within a 30 min. drive. All the workers were polite and helpful. The manager was scary at first because I had the wrong impression about the costs before speaking with her, but she ended up being equally generous and bright.
I only tossed the ball 3 times because the event was organized for my friends and classmates, and I do think it's a little intimidating how there were no gutter-prevention bumpers for such a long lane distance. That said, it was a fun experience. The machines were fully-functional. There was a lot of good seating and space per person despite there being many other customers in the venue in an off-peak hour. I would highly recommend people to check this place out if they...
Read moreThe bowling alley was just okay however our game timed out in the middle of our session. After requesting with the attendant, for the remainder of time to complete the game, He gave us two 5 minute sessions indicating he gave Us 30 minutes instead. He further suggested showing Us the extended time, which We agreed to see. Only for him to say, "OH NO, You have to wait until I'm done now, counting everything out." He changed his story a few times, which was very silly because a simple apology and explanation would've sufficed.
I didn't like that no one cleaned anything, tables were a little dirty when We arrived, I had to ask for spray for my shoes and the soda was VERY flat. I carry sanitizer and wipes but should be something the establishment should think about especially during these times.
Also, they allowed smoking in the bar. I thought that was a thing of the past. Who wants to smell like cigarettes, when they don't smoke?! I surely don't.
Anywho, my first time bowling in a while and I wasn't...
