Kinsley Park — Attraction in City of Yonkers

Kinsley Park is one of the oldest parks in yonkers built in memory of the arborist Samuel Franks. People from all ages come here to relax, walk their dogs, and play sports like tennis,basketball, and baseball. The playground needs to be redone (paint ). The basketball court is not in good condition, but the tennis court is in good condition and well maintained for all who like to play tennis. The metal tables need to be replaced. Two individuals claiming to be from the “City of Yonkers” (but refused to show credentials) were using 2 courts out of the four for private lessons. Did not allow others to use one of the empty courts, even after informing them that it was for a short period of time to entertain a child who is in foster care, is a ward of the state, and who doesn’t have the financial resources to pay for...

Been here for only for a little bit but it seems safe. There is a basketball court and a playground for the kids. And there is shade in some parts of the park. Also around this park there is a tennis court and a little baseball field. The Bathrooms are a...
