Palisades Pizza & Pasta — Restaurant in City of Yonkers

Yesterday, after the plastic lid melted on my ziti, due to the weight of another platter placed on top when it was packaged, I returned it today only to be told by the owner that I put it in the microwave, which was not the case. He decided to replace it after behaving in a disrespectful and condescending manner. When I received it, I threw it in the trash. A&V and Villagios it is. This establishment will no longer receive my business and I recommend you do the same. I've been a long standing customer ever since the previous owner, and never did I receive such poor treatment, especially highlighting something that could have been a choking hazard. Please note that when I brought the matter to his attention I made it clear that the plastic lid melting is a hazard not only to myself, but to others, and he should put the aluminum lids instead. Horrible, detestable, UNETHICAL service. Waited OVER TWO HOURS for the pizza, all because the guy on the phone kept telling me it was "on its way". When I finally decided to cancel it, he refuses to give me my money back and then admits that they didn't even start making the pizza until about "20 minutes ago", that it was now with the delivery, and there was nothing they could do. Delivery guy leaves the pizza in the lobby and takes off with my pre-paid $5.00 credit card tip that he absolutely did NOT earn. Pizza was actually good, but the zeppolis were hard and gross, and the horrible lies and lack of service acumen made everything taste like trash. I will never order from this place again, and you shouldn't either. With all the lack of honesty and ethics around a measly $35 order, I don't expect the rest of their business to offer much taste...

I ordered a Meatball Parmigiana Hero and a Linguine with Garlic and Oil. The hero was mostly bread nothing else, with the meatballs being cut in half to fill the sandwich. The real horror was the Pasta. Maybe the single worst pasta dish I’ve ever had in my life. The linguine was broken into inch long pieces, so it was impossible to actually pick any up on my fork. The dish itself was completely tasteless. I legitimately tasted nothing while eating it. It made me question if I had Covid. I added my own salt and pepper to try and enhance the flavor, but nothing. To top it all off, as I was eating, I chewed on a piece of plastic within the dish! Inedible food, absolutely foul. A lot of folks were ordering pizza slices. Maybe I should have played it safe and went with that. I will not...
