Seven Hills Church — Attraction in City of Yonkers

I have been living in Yonkers for over 9 years and I always questioned the Christian faith and wanting to start my journey and learn more about Jesus, what His image was like? How to become more in His image? Unfortunately in those years i was unable to find a Christian discipleship church. I was yearning to know how to OBEY and FOLLOW God rather than just BELIEVING in God. Last year 2024 i hit the iceberg that nearly drowned me, i knew i needed Jesus, and I started searching for a christian based church again, i bumped into “SEVEN HILLS CHURCH” on the google engine which led me to a link on instagram. I contacted the page to see whats up, asked all the questions i felt i needed to ask, get the maximum reassurance on things. They told me “we will open close to October on North broadway”. I was so happy but still so distracted i didnt attend certain summer events i got invited too by the church before their opening. Jan 2025 i finally made that step to attend my first Sunday service! It has been the best decision i have ever made. My life has changed by the Lord and savior. No more addictions, no more overload on worries, as i have learned to place my worries in God’s hands. Anxiety has been absent thanks be the God! This past March I made the decision to get baptized and was baptized by Pastor Diane (she is an amazing pastor and friend walked me through it all). I felt the Holy spirit move and still moving in me. Lost interest in many worldly events that is not of God and i feel free. This church continues to help fill me with the reassurance, and reasons to continue walking in faith with Jesus from the abundance of worship, to helping the community, helping one another, the kids ministry, the family build, and more. Our Experience at Seven Hills Church

When we first moved to the country, everything felt so overwhelming. The changes in our life were huge, and we were uncertain about what to expect. Thankfully, our family told us about Seven Hills Church, so we decided to visit on a Sunday. From the moment we stepped inside, we were welcomed with warmth and love, as if we were already a part of the family.

Pastor Ashish made sure to take the time to connect with us, understand our story, and make us feel at home. It was clear from that first encounter that this wasn’t just a church, but a true family of believers. We never once felt like outsiders, and the comfort of being surrounded by the children of God was a blessing.

Since joining Seven Hills, we’ve experienced spiritual growth, built lasting friendships, and felt supported through life’s challenges. The community is warm and supportive — we’ve made so many wonderful connections with people who genuinely care about each other. It’s a place where we can truly belong and grow together in faith.

The worship is powerful, heartfelt, and an incredible way to connect with God. The teaching is always biblical, inspiring, and relevant to everyday life, helping us to grow in our understanding of God’s word.

Seven Hills has truly become a home for me. I find myself looking forward to Sundays—I genuinely yearn to be there. The leadership team is incredible. They take the time to personally get to know everyone who walks through the doors, whether it’s during worship, through prayer, or simply by reaching out outside of church to connect on a deeper level.

What makes this place even more special is how intentional they are about building real relationships within the church. They create opportunities for people to form community and feel connected—whether you’re new to faith or have been walking with God for years. You feel seen, heard, and valued.
