Sono Baby Studio — Attraction in City of Yonkers

I made a 1:20pm appointment with Sonobaby on a Saturday just so that I could make the 24h mark before entering my 37th week of pregnancy - they do not see anyone past the 36 week mark. We arrived in the building at 1:20pm due to traffic. Checking in took about 2 minutes, we had to slide a paper pass into some kind of scanner to unlock the elevator and access the 9th floor. At 1:23pm we were upstairs but no one was at the front desk. I looked around and saw a sign asking for us to call a specific number. At 1:26pm the call was finished. No one ever came for us. When I checked my emails, I saw that the appointment had been cancelled at 1:13pm. The sad part is that they would not reschedule because I was about to be over the 36 week mark the next day. When they finally called back, they didn’t even try to apologize - which I find appalling when you are in the business of dealing with families and pregnant women. The lady on the phone claimed that she had tried to call me all week. I do not answer unknown numbers but always call back numbers that I do not recognize to make sure I do not miss something important like this, so that was inaccurate. Additionally, I had emailed several weeks prior to ask if they did, by any chance, offer biophysiological sonograms with the support of a prescription and my emails were left unanswered. Still, I gave them a second chance and what happened happened. Bottom line: I would give this company a zero. Their practices are ill mannered at best. For my first child, I had spent time in Europe and went to a similar ultrasound facility that was so much more legitimate and where the staff was really polite and on top of things. What a let down! I’ve been here 2X and both were such a pleasureable experience. I had Damaris do my sonograms and she was so warm and welcoming and patient. She took her time both times and made me so relaxed. The first time we went for gender determination at 14 weeks and it took some time because baby wouldn’t open legs. She allowed me to get up and walk around, drink some ice cold water and eat a sweet snack. After that she was able to see the gender and baby was moving around. The second time i went for 3D sonogram pictures at 35 weeks & she was able to capture the most beautiful pictures ever. Also, as she’s doing the sonograms she explains the different body parts & explains what she’s doing. We got a picture of our baby smiling & sticking out his tongue. Damaris is the sweetest & i will recommend this place to everyone. If there are more children in my future i will definitely be coming back here...

Went Saturday for my starter package. My tech was wonderful my husband who was trying to find parking was running late and she waited before starting. Unfortunately he still missed it because parking is horrible. Had my four year old with me and she was really nice with him and making sure he knew what he was seeing. She spoke to me the whole time and made sure I loved the shots she got. My only disappointment was that there was no bears keep in mind that was my four year olds Excitement to coming as we told him he can pick his sisters bear. I wish I would’ve got told that it wasn’t available that way I would’ve rescheduled. I paid 150 and left with just four pictures. They later emailed me pictures and videos so I’m thankful. Videos wouldn’t play I emailed them and they corrected it. I’m just really sad that now I have to wait for the bear to be shipped and not sure how long...
