Claremont Promenade Shopping Center — Attraction in Claremont

Such mixed feelings about this place.. I love shopping at Super King. 88c bakery next door is the nectar of the Gods. And next door to them is Amir and his highly addictive fresh bread. Oooh I gained ten pounds from that place just over last Christmas. The major downer of the whole facility is the parking. It is a dangerous Charlie Fox, at all hours. Few things are more terrifying than being in the site picture of a Honda minivan filled with kids and piloted some "new arrival" half blinded by a hijab as she feels her way down a parking aisle. Shivers!! I tend to park out on Auto Center DR and just hike in while scanning 360. The exercise is good for me. And there is amazing food in there. Exit and exfiltration from the AO can be done more safely standing in active traffic on Auto Center, than inside that parking lot. Oh, and the shopping carts all have damaged wheels. Hate that. Big pet peeve. Still a great option for excellent food not found anywhere else. We are lucky to...

This "shopping center" is so cool...it has the "essentials" nailed. King Market...Chase Bank and Claremont Toyota anchor the area. In addition...if you get hungry, there are restaurants from which to choose. Other small shops dot the sidewalks. So...groceries, car repair (or a new one)...banking and a bite? All right there...and free parking...(you may have to circle a few times)...it's a "magnet!" Great find...on my Top 10 Shopping...

It is a great shopping area, located on the border between Claremont and Pomona. There are several eateries in this shopping area, my favorite among them Norms, without it, there is Denny's, Waba Grill, and several other eateries. In addition, there are several stores, one of them is Super King Market. So, next time, if I am in the area, I would visit this shopping area. I remember spending time in this area, for I used to...
