I forgot what you call these things but they look like pizza but with Mediterranean fixings. They also sell tiny pies with spinach or cheese inside. Best of all, you can buy fresh baked pita bread!!! OMG! They are smoking out of the I've never deliciousness! You can eat there or take them home to your hungry loved ones. They're a bit pricey but the food is fresh so ehh... One more thing that's great about it's location is, it's next to a pastry & coffee shop. So, we go there for breakfast and order our coffee next door. They don't mind it coz the don't serve coffee. Another thing is it's few step to a Mediterranean grocery store. I ordered food to go and while waiting, I went to the grocery store and bought stuff to go with it like cucumbers, parsley, fresh dates, hummus, 🍅, olive oil, and lychees! What?! Lychees! Al-Amir Bakery is a bakery in Claremont for Lebanese / Mediterranean flat bread. Flat Bread is a popular Levantine food consisting of dough with toppings like thyme, cheese, or ground meat. Similar to a pizza, it can be sliced or folded, and it can be served either for breakfast, lunch or dinner. We went to this bakery on September 13, 2019. The ambiance of the bakery was calm and quiet. We ordered ZAATAR (Dried Thyme, Sumac, Sesame Seeds, Olive / Vegetable Oil) and SOJOUK (Ground beef, Special Spices, Crushed Pepper). Unfortunately I did not have good experience in my last visit to the restaurant, I was big fan of this place and did recommend to many friends before !!!
