B&B Theatres Claremore Cinema 8 — Attraction in Claremore

July 17th, 2023 Today 4 members of our family went to see the movie "The Sound of Freedom" at the B & B Theater near Walmart in Claremore. My husband had heard reports of various theaters doing things to cause problems with viewing the movie, cutting the AC off, very low volume etc... We saw the 4:20 P.M. showing of the film in theater 6. During the previews ALL speakers were on and working properly. When the movie started the volume went so low that you could barely discern the dialog. My husband walked around the theater, the ONLY speakers that were on were the front speakers directly by the screen. My husband made two complaints about the low volume and nothing was done. The other speakers were never turned back on! My son could hear the bass from the theater directly behind us coming through the wall, My husband stepped into theater 7, where they were showing "Mission:Impossible". He didn't even have to go in far enough to see the screen, ALL speakers were working at full volume, the dialog could be heard clearly from the door. The "Sound of Freedom" brings attention to the methods and problem of child trafficking. Everyone should see this movie. Why are theater owners trying to sabotage this movie, what are they afraid of? Extremely disappointed in our trip to the movies in Claremore last night. When we went to the counter to buy tickets, there was 4 people working who just stood there and stared at us and didn’t offer to help until I asked if we could buy tickets?! It was awkward. The floors were disgusting and popcorn was everywhere. Obviously it’s a movie theater so popcorn is to be expected, but only one person seemed to be actually working while the rest just stood around and talked the entire time we were there. The bathrooms where horrible. Trash all over the place, the stalls were extremely dirty. When we got into the movie, my seat was broken and didn’t recline at all (one of the reasons we picked that theater, because I wanted to kick back and relax to watch a movie) I know it’s not always going to be top notch, but it definitely could have been way better had a little effort been put in by the staff on shift last night. The carpet is also awful. It needs shampooed. I hadn’t been in that theater in a couple of years and it’s really gone downhill since then. I want our little town to be proud of the businesses we have and this one is...

The movies are expensive and they are a great escape from life. Personal stuff led to me and my husband needing a much needed break so we purchased a ticket to lilo and stitch. We got the top row which quickly filled with teenagers. They got loud with their phones on and so my husband made a complaint with the front desk. A worker had stood there and watched for maybe two three minutes and left and as soon as they left the kids started up again. My husband proceeded to start choking on popcorn and had left to not disrupt the movie. The kids laughed and started taking pictures. So when my husband returned we decided to leave. On our way out I made a very clear but polite complaint at the front desk where I was told they wouldn’t do anything about it. We wasted 80 dollars and got to watch maybe half the movie. It will be a little bit before we return.please just in the future take people complaints more seriously. We work all week too and paid good money for that break that we didn’t get and we left more stressed than...
