Deer Lake Beach — Attraction in Clarkston

Wouldn’t recommend unless you only have a couple adults and are looking to spend the whole day. They even charge for infants, and for our small family of three to go hang out for an hour, we had to pay $15. They also only take cash or check, so be prepared to pay $5 a person (resident pricing only, bring more if you aren’t a resident). It’s super disappointing seeing a place I used to come every day as a kid turn into such a money grab. The employees are extremely friendly and the lake is great, it’s just sad how inaccessible...

This place is great for families with small children, it is easy to supervise. The amount of sand is nice for a child to play in. However for grown people there is very little room.
