So happy I've moved from Clawson to Royal Oak, where's there's is an incredibly better Dollar Tree in my new area. I would give the Clawson Dollar Tree a --0 if possible! And I hope corporate sees my review and finally takes action to straighten this Dollar Tree out, fire some employees or close it down!! This store is disgusting, filthy, chaotic, non accessible for the disabled and HIGHLY DANGEROUS due to tons of boxes stacked high and products scattered down every isle where you have to maneuver around to get to shelves and ultimately the product(s) you're looking for are not stocked to begin with! Empty shelves down every isle! This is highly unnerving and stressful for Dollar Tree customers! This store has the most unhappiest, unhelpful older mangers and cashier's I have ever encountered! They jump down your throat for no reason and always have sour looks on their faces and never smile!! One middle aged cashier never speaks back to you or answers you, but has no probably having an arrogant you're bothering me attitude, with only giving you a condescending half smile, wow! There isn't a person I know that hasn't complained loudly about this store for years and a DT employee at a Dollar Tree Warren store I know told me he went in this store and had a bad, unpleasant experience and will never step foot in this store again and he's a DT employee, so that speaks volumes how bad this Dollar Tree is, so corporate I hope you're reading my review and listening?! A customer at some point is going to get seriously hurt someday, and you will be sued, unless you already have been? The store is a hot mess every time I have gone in, and with misplaced products thrown on shelves that do not belong there and I have gone into other Dollar Tree stores where the store is so clean, organized, well stocked, non chaotic and very friendly and helpful staff and managers, that seem to enjoy their jobs! The $1.25 name brand items are well stocked in these stores, but not in Clawson Dollar Tree, never! I suppose those products are more than likely sitting in boxes!! Most o the employees are older woman are extremely unfriendly with the exception of a few younger ones!! The worst and the poorest customer service I've ever experienced in any store or other customer service driven establishments!! I've heard the manager complain several times about her poor health and if she's that bad off, she needs to seek employment at an establishment more conducive for her health issues and needs! Dollar Tree corporate, you should be ashamed you allow this store to operate in such an dirty, highly unfriendly and incompetent manner!! The store is a disgrace to the very family friendly city...
Read moreI am a full-time wheelchair user who lives in the area. I don’t drive so this store is very convenient for me to get to. I have visited this store three times in the last six days and every single time I have gone in there have been boxes stacked from floor to ceiling, stacked on dollies down every (already very narrow) aisle. I have not been able to access any of the merchandise that I needed to get. The second time I was in there on 5/7/25, I asked the cashier to please have someone get me the items that I needed that were completely blocked by a huge tower of boxes on a dolly. She was able to have someone grab them for me, which worked, but ridiculous, annoying and discriminatory that there are many areas of a small store I cannot access. I just left the store again today 5/9/25 and all of the boxes are still there, all over the store. I asked the cashier if she could please move them so that I could access the merchandise and get down the aisle safely, but she told me that I would have to wait until she helped all of the customers in line, of which there were many. It is extremely frustrating as a disabled person to not even be able to walk down aisles of a store because there’s so much junk piled everywhere. My first visit there this week was on 5/3/25 and it was equally terrible then. I left without buying several of the items I went there to get because I could not access them at all. I decided to give them another chance on Wednesday, thinking they would have it more clear and accessible by then, but sadly, I was mistaken. Again today, I was unable to go down at least half of the aisles due to the boxes and dollies and could not access any of the merchandise I was shopping for. It has been 6 days since my first visit and the store was in worse condition than the first. I left without purchase and will not be back. Unrelated to the ADA complaint, this store is absolutely disgusting and filthy all the time. This is an absolutely terrible place for anyone with a disability, especially someone in a wheelchair. I deserve to be able to safely get down each and every aisle of a store. What makes me especially angry is that it really is such a convenient place for me to get to in my wheelchair as a non-driver. What an absolutely frustrating, humiliating,...
Read moreThe other lady who works here is so sweet. However, the lady today made me not want to ever come here ever again. The lady was not so subtly showing her racism. There was a older Caucasian guy ahead of us and a older Caucasian lady ahead of him. There was no dividers present on the conveyor belt for either of them. Everyone was safely social distancing so there was actually no need. The Cashier was really nice and talkative to both the people in front of us. After she was done scanning all of the guy ahead of us stuff my husband puts my 2 hair bow packs on the conveyors belt once they reach the scan part she finishes up with the customer in front of us. She says to him thank you have a good day! Now it's our turn and she's not as talkative she slides a divider that reads " PLEASE DO NOT TOUCH" behind my hair bows and there is absolutely nothing on the conveyor belt. then ask my husband to put the other divider down. Still nothing on the conveyor belt because everyone is respectfully socially distancing. So there's my 2 pack of hair bows a divider directly behind them and another divider half way down from them and just empty space. Lol smh... people are seriously messed up. As we leave she happily welcomes the next Caucasian customers with a Hi! how are you doing ... Definitely the last...
