Just saw The Laramie Project at the Clayton Community Theatre! The production was amazing. The play took me back to a time that was a poignant and a difficult point of reflection for the state of our country! The actors each played many roles in the production and did an amazing job of embodying each role presenting the broad spectrum of responses and reactions to the Matthew Shepard case!
I was riveted and moved to tears by the performance. The venue is intimate, and the minimalist set combined with lighting and strong character acting evoked a strong sense of connection to the audience! I very much recommend checking out the play while it runs and look forward to future...
