Today we recently visited the City Green Farm Eco-Center in Clifton, NJ, and it was an unforgettable experience. This hidden gem is a testament to sustainable living and environmental education. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about their work. They offer engaging tours and workshops that not only educate but also inspire visitors to embrace eco-friendly practices. Read moreThis has got to be one of my most beloved non profits. They do so much to help the community & they provide amazing resources for us all. I support the programs that they've created and ran. Recently their Earth Day festival went out with a bang. The children got to plant seeds, make aromatherapy bags, do science activities & enjoy many games and activities that were provided. They also had healthy snacks for all. I truly enjoyed taking my little ones to the event, it gave me a great opportunity to discuss Earth Day and how we contribute to making our environment healthier for us one day at a time. Read moreThis is the first time I have ever gone to City Green. I actually never even realized it was there. I was impressed but the vegetables they had and understand that they have a large festival the weekend before or after thanksgiving. Will keep an eye out for that. Maybe additional advertising would be helpful because after 15 years of living very close of to where they sell fresh vegetables etc., I still would have not known where to go unless someone asked me to goo specifically to pick something up here for them.
