Man Cave Cutz Barber Shop — Attraction in Clifton

I live close by this Barber Shop… Man Cave Cutz… Been going in here a little over a year. Usually I get very good and professional service. But not today. Today I went in and was greeted by a tall man with a beard. I did not get his name. He asked me if I had an appointment. I said no. He asked me what I wanted… what kind of haircut/hairstyle. I showed him a picture of me with the haircut I received here last time. He said… “Oh I have a Barber available for you now… “ABDULLAH… ABDULLAH… come here and cut this man’s hair please”… Out walks this kid… and I mean a kid… who looked barely old enough for high school. He appeared nervous and unsure. I asked the guy “Is this kid experienced” and he said “He’s good He’s good… you will be okay have a seat”. It was the worst haircut I ever got in my life. This kid was so slow because clearly he was LEARNING and was NOT experienced like I was lied to and told he was. When the cut was over I paid and tipped the kid. When I got home and took a look in my bathroom mirror in better light my hair was awful. Nothing was even. Divets and patches on top of my head. The sides uneven and full of cowlicks. Horrible. This place let an inexperienced and nervous kid cut my hair instead of a professional because I was a walk in and not an appointment. I will not be returning… ever!! You don’t treat loyal customers from the neighborhood you serve this way. Now I have to find another Barber to fix this and even it out and it’s gonna be shorter than I wanted it to be. Horrible. I don’t blame the kid… I blame the guy who told him to cut my hair and lied to me that he knew what he was doing. I should’ve walked out. ...

legitimately the worst cut i’ve gotten in my life. first off, the barber was playing on his phone for 15 minutes while i was waiting (i didn’t even realize he was my barber i thought he was another customer). then when i finally got in the chair he was trying to rush me out. i showed a picture of a medium length undercut and told him specifically NOT to cut the top or shave the back too short since i like it longer. i have pin straight hair so ik it’s hard to deal with but he shaved the back practically to the bone and left me like barely 2 inches on top and HE DIDNT EVEN FADE IT. i cannot stress how awful this looked. i showed my friend the next day and he started CRYING LAUGHING. the barber was also on the phone with someone the entire haircut. maybe if he hung up the call he could’ve listened to what i actually wanted. 0/10...
