Tiara Hair Salon — Attraction in Clifton

It's been 3 months since my bad haircut here, and I am still not over it. She used to be great idk what happened. I assume too caught up on social media. I asked for a simple U-line with layers and 2 inches off. She did a "TikTok" hack haircut on me, and well, let's say it failed MISERABLY. I got a choppy A-line cut with NO layers and 4.5 inches removed. AND the front portion of my hair was WAY longer than the back. She ruined my hair. I have curly hair, so if it's not cut right, it will not look good. I am STILL waking up and hating how I look. That's why I feel this review is necessary doesn't value you if you're not a big spender. doesn't listen just does what she wants. does not understand Curly hair. (Curly girlies go somewhere else) ALWAYS wants to blow dry and straighten. Even if you tell her you NEVER wear your hair like that, she will keep insisting. (Mind you, I never ask for a discount; I still pay full price + tip with half the work.) she doesn't lose anything.

I go to a professional and pay professional pricing for a reason. If I wanted to experiment with viral internet haircut hacks, I would do it myself. Stick to what you learned in beauty school. Even if you are "bored," that's not your customer's problem. You have 2 daughters to experiment on.

She did offer to fix it for free (DUH). However, with how bad this was I didn't trust her. I went somewhere else and had to cut off more unwanted length just to get it...

I started going to Tiara a year ago, after the first visit I knew I found my new hair salon. The salon is super clean and it is modern but yet welcoming. They offer complimentary drinks ( water or coffee). There was plenty of parking space so no need to worry about that ( extra points imo since I hate parallel parking lol). The girls at front desk are friendly and a pleasure to work with. I usually make my appointments on line but there has been couple of occasions I needed a quick trim and they have always been accomodating through the phone.Eleni, the owner, is very attentive. She listens to what you say, will ask you if you have pictures of what you have in mind and will guide you. I walked into this cute neighborhood salon just to get my hair washed. I was surprised by how delightful: charming, quaint and relaxing the environment was, how warm and inviting the staff were and the care that they took for a simple hair wash, which they did incredibly well. Over time, I've gone to Tiara Salon many times. The staff are all warm and caring and absolute pros. Sonia is amazing. They are all very talented- and very cool. It's a hidden gem in my neighborhood and beyond. I highly recommend this salon. It has a unique tone to it, which makes it very special.
