A friend told me he had been there the previous day and wanted to show me how lovely it was.so, off we went. It was GORGEOUS. It was very green what with beautiful grass everywhere, scads of trees, and bushes, carefully chosen and placed. This year, there were more flower gardens too, obviously planned by very clever gardeners. There were swings and other equipment the little ones could play on and lots of benches scattered throughout this park. Public restrooms were in the middle of the park; there was amply parking and a river meandered by. The lake (river?) was beautiful. We were seranaded by the bullfrogs! The ducks and other big birds took time to show off their wings and lovely feathers. Read moreThe creme de la creme of Clinton Townships parks. This is by far the most conventually beautiful and well-maintained park in the Township. There’s bathrooms and pavilions with benches for picnics or other luncheon related events. A lot of people come here for wedding and prom photos due to its picturesque nature. A lot of fountains, and a well-paved trail that at least goes a mile or two in. Because I am someone who likes the more remote, lesser-picked, more hidden gem locations. And none of those things really apply, my only real complaint is it’s near impossible to find a dead day to go and enjoy some peace and quiet. Read moreThis Park is amazing, whether you stay in the area or not you should definitely go to this park. It has an awesome area for your children to play. There’s a nice trail to walk or run, some people even bike. Then if you climb up under the bridge you can see some cool grafitti but be careful as there is also a river that runs.There’s water flowing through rocks it’s some nice scenery. There are areas to sit with tables and areas to have birthday parties etc. My family and I will go and take lunch there or even to have a picnic. It’s honestly my children’s favorite park.
