I had ordered from this place 10+ years ago when it first opened. The burger was juicy because it was so greasy (higher fat content) that I barely made it home (10 minutes away) to the bathroom because my stomach can't handle food with high fat content.
We decided a few weeks ago to give it another try and it seems the taste of the beef in the burgers has changed, it wasn't as greasy as it was 10+ years ago but it was bland at best.
The Philly steak sub I had last night, I couldn't tell if it was au jus or gravy on it but it made me burp several hours after eating it. Maybe it's just me, but seems to be missing a dressing in it. (?)
My main complaint lies with the shakes. They're thick, good and the whipped topping I can tell is premium. It lasts longer than the shake itself!
The 5 times we ordered from there I didn't get a cherry in my shakes until last night. My husband questioned the server last night about it and her response was 'Depends on who is making it'. We were very surprised by her response. That little cherry is part of the cost of the shake! You shouldn't charge full price when you're not giving exactly what the menu description is!
My question is, are they being pure lazy or whoever made it is pocketing the cost of the cherries they're leaving out of the shakes?
I say this because I have worked in the food industry years ago. I knew ppl who charged the customers full price for a menu item but they informed the cooks not to put etc etc on the food without changing the order. They pocketed the cost of that item they purposely left out. I'm very aware of inventory and the...
Read moreSo I try you guys again after months of boycott. I just waited 20 min in the drive thru. Had to move orange barrels so myself and the rest of us that were trapped could get out. Unfortunately I had already ordered for stall pickup. Of course the 3 working stalls are filled which is why I ended up in the drive thru to begin with. Now I'm in a stall waiting another 20 minutes. I need the general manager to call me. This has happened to many times and none of us have seen any improvement. It's clear corporate let's these franchises drag their products name through the dirt and it's totally fine. I just can't fathom how a company could allow this mismanagement to even happen. I would lose my job if I ran my business like this. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH WE WANT REAL PROGRESS. About to make a boycott clinton twp sonic group and share it all over macomb county. We are sick and tired of falling for this scam. We order and when we order you charge us so we can't even choose to not spend an hour of our time here trying to get what we ordered. You're literally stealing time from everyone including families. My time is valuable and shouldn't ever be wasted by a place I'm paying to patron. I EXPECT A FOLLOW-UP RESPONSE ON THIS REVIEW. WE ARE...
Read moreWaited for service for 30 minutes, no one ever responded. We left without buying anything EDIT: Came back to this sonic after our movie because we really wanted sonic (they don't have any near my town). We pulled up to one of the park and order spots and pressed the red button to order, waited a good 6-7 minutes, then a girl answered on the speaker and told us they couldn't take our order there and to go through the drive through. The drove through was understandably a little busy, being a Saturday night and all, but we waited for nearly 30 minutes until we even got to the part where you order. There was only maybe 3 or 4 cars in front of us when we got in the line so waiting 30 minutes seemedlike a really long time. When we did get to the speaker, the girl we ordered from was not very quick to respond to us. Waited another 10 minutes for our food, the girl who gave us our food seemed nice and polite. The food was good, because its sonic lol. But the wait and slow response time was very disappointing. I'm glad we weren't in a hurry to get anywhere. Also, we counted 4 employees working (from what we could see through the windows) so they couldn't have been that understaffed. Then again I'm not sure how many people it takes to smoothly...
