Aldi is pretty great all around and this particular location is my favorite one. Lucky me, I have agoraphobia, anxiety and sensory processing issues. Grocery shopping is an ordeal that I have to psych myself up for. Aldi is uniquely awesome because the choices are limited. I don’t have to waste my time wondering which brand is best or doing price comparisons. Their produce is decent; some things better than others. The organic baby spinach and French cut green beans are my favorites and they’re consistently good. They have a nice selection of quality meat, cheese and eggs. The painfully bright, obnoxious lighting in stores always sets me on edge, but Aldi isn’t bad at all. It’s somehow less harsh than the average grocery store and they never play music over the P.A. I love, love, love that they installed self-checkout stations. It’s my policy to avoid human interactions whenever possible, but on the occasion that I do require assistance the employees here are always very friendly and helpful. Their plastic bag policy rocks my world. Bring your own reusable bags, collect empty boxes while you shop or pay for bags at checkout. Yes! Why doesn’t everyone do this? If people saw plastic bags as having monetary value, a lot of environmental issues would become far more manageable. The concept of paying a refundable quarter for a cart is also brilliant. It means the parking lot is never littered with strays that will roll into your car and dent it. It means money is saved because they don’t need an extra employee to go outside and wrangle them. And that means you’ll find organic free-range chicken eggs for at least $2 less here than at...
Read moreWorst customer service ever. My fiance and I had just left from here, after being harassed by a disgruntled employee just because we didn't use a cart. We were so stunned with how she made false accusations about how she thought we couldn't afford it, and proceeded to explain the whole "process" of how things work at Aldi. She then said, " I see you've only got about $75 worth of groceries, so I don't see how you...." It was completely outrageous behavior and the worst experience I've ever had at grocery store. We couldn't believe what we were hearing to the point where it was baffling and embarrassing. We never carry cash, so we always use our credit and debit cards. We've never had problems with not using carts in the past, so we're wondering why we were targeted over something as minut as this. I've always had a wonderful experience at various Aldi's in the area; however, this was the most shockingly offensive and most unprofessional display of behavior I have ever witnessed. I am truly heartbroken by how rude we were treated today. I highly don't recommend shopping at this location, unless you don't mind being greeted with unpleasantness by a cashier and given the third degree over a quarter just because an employee failed to have a backup cart...
Read moreI discovered Aldi's in 2017 and I am so happy I did! I love them! I love all their food. I love their prices, even though I love the prices a little less lately. When I first started shopping here i could not believe how much I was saving. Sometimes you have to watch their produce, some of it is not as fresh as it could be, especially the stuff that is wrapped in plastic, but all in all everything is great. I love the special buys (surprises, I call them). Last month I got a box of 1.5 pounds of crab legs for $19.99. I haven't seen that price since pre-Covid. I love that they are a smaller store, i can get in and out quickly. They have everything I need on a weekly basis. On a rare occasion I have to go elsewhere for something but I just make sure to stock up on those few things they don't have. The weekly staples, they do have. I like their high quality meat and the prices are reasonable. I like that they have a lot of healthy and organic products because I do care about the quality of the food that I put int my body. Last but not least, they have the fastest checkout people I have ever seen in my life! Hands down, they are the absolute fastest at checking you out; I never wait...
