M3 Surplus — Attraction in Clinton Township

I thought all the Army Navy surplus places had disappeared from the local area, but I was mistaken. M3 Surplus has a great selection of military surplus and new clothing and other kit, including a big selection of boots, first responder gear, camping, and other outdoor gear. They also stock military awards and patches, with a big selection of ribbons. I browsed for 2 hours for medical (first aid) supplies and load bearing equipment required for an upcoming tree felling event to clean up some storm damage, and found everything I needed. Absolutely great staff. I drove an hour to see if they had what I needed. As Joe Army and Navy did not at all there location. I was greeted at the door and within minutes I had a sales associate ask if I needed help finding anything. I spent about 2 hours there trying to find the right fit for my Molle Tacticle Vest. Gage helped me in every way possible to finding best fits, putting in my plates from my previous vest into my knew one. She even helped transfer all my pouches from my old vest to my new one. ABSOLUETLY amazing. It gets better. At the end, Gage carried my new vest to my car. Mind you that thing weighs about 100lbs. I will continue to drive an hour to this place. I came from Toledo to visit this place. I was greeted by a friendly staff and a dog. Kathy showed me a number of personal protection options that would fit my needs. The store itself will overwealm you with tons of products and gear that was well organized and displayed. I purchased a few surplus hats that were in great shape and a real bargain. Speaking of prices everything here was very competitively priced. I've read a number of reviews gripe about online being "cheaper". I choose to support local businesses and veterans and this was well worth my trip and will be returning soon...
