Would give -5 if I could t this prejudiced and unprofessional joke .Long story short I went into this establishment with the intent to sell Victor, the owner, a secondhand Cartier Love Bracelet only to be given one of the dirtiest looks on earth and told 'its fake' WITHOUT ANYONE having so much as take it out of the box to LOOK first. When i , somewhat stunned by his bluntness and unrealistically fast judgement, asked how he could tell, Victor simply stated "i can /just tell" before adding " but you knew it was fake, didnt you?" Then snidely stated he was "so sorry" for wasting my time and asked me to leave.EXCUSE ME??? i'm aware that i may not fit the mold of his usual clientele as far as appearances go; im not a thin white woman who arrived in her husbands audi A5, i'm a skinny lesbian punk with a shaved head and a crooked smile.....but i have NEVER had someone use my appearance as a blatant factor in judging me AND accusing me of fraud. Days later I had my Love Bracelet appraised by one of my town's local jewelers as i wanted to know /for sure/ if the bracelet was a fake--and guess what? NOPE. 100% REAL. The jewelry assessing the piece even told me that there are a strict set of criteria they'd have to check before passing it off as fake--none of which victor explored. I sold her the bracelet for $5500 (as opposed to the $2000 low ball i was offering Victor) and went on my way. If you want to feel judged for your appearance and be lied to by a self proclaimed master jeweler by all means try this please, but if professionalism and authenticity and satisfactory service are things your after seek help elsewhere. I'm eagerly awaiting Your sad excuses for why you refused to even evaluate my piece....Anything you plan to write in your "defense" could have easily been told to me in person in the professional manner I saw you use on the client before me, maybe then I'd have left with a different impression....

Last year when I proposed to my fiancee I was lucky enough to have been introduced to Victor at Dickens Jewelers to help me design the perfect ring. He spent about two hours with me sharing his in store samples, and then custom designing a one of a kind ring. The deep blue sapphire stone, wrapped in diamonds exploded when the box was opened. In the heat of the excitement, we found out that the ring size was a bit too small... Luckily Victor was right across the street and was able to re-size the ring within hours. He shared in our congratulations and excitement and did everything he could to make that day perfect.

When it came time to shop for our wedding bands the first and only stop was back to Dickens Jewelers. Victor sat with us for about an hour listening to our budget, our design ideas, and functionality of the rings. He ordered in stones for us to review, and guided us in selecting a ring that would last a lifetime. When our rings arrived we were overjoyed with how they looked, the design was just as we hopped for, and truly matched our style.
