The ice cream- For an ice cream place, they don't have the biggest collection of flavors and toppings. What they lack in those areas, they gain in quality. The ice cream tastes wonderful, is served in very neat fashions for sundaes, and at just the right temperature to be soft and not melt for a few minutes. I was very surprised to find the green tea flavor, a rare one and my favorite. The prices weren't too bad, considering the quality of the ice cream.

Appearance- the store is very cheerfully decorated and easily noticeable. The signs (menus, suggestions, etc) are descriptive and rather well decorated. My only complaint is that some of the signs that advertise certain sundae combinations are a bit far back in the store, and not easily noticeable.

Staff- Our group only got to speak to one of the staff, but she was very kind, friendly, and got everything just right. Very well done on her part.

(As others have noted this place is CASH ONLY but I knew that thanks to this maps listing before going. ;3 ) We went here passing through the area, and I thought it was a really nice little place! The young man who served us was very friendly even told us about the history of the building as being from the 1800s as house #1 at the start of the main street and there's a cool old photo on the wall of it. I had bourbon pecan and pistachio ice cream and thought it was delicious. My wife commented that that they had warmed up the brownie for her brownie sundae. I thought the portions were perfectly fine for the price, I don't really understand what some reviewers were talking about on that point. Lastly I will note there's a lovely Garden in the back for seating like we were really surprised how beautiful it was. The place also had super adorable seasonal Halloween decorations. Really cute little ice cream shop in beautiful downtown Clinton. They have enough flavors to please just about anyone, and so far what we've tried (minus one hiccup) has been great. On our last visit I got a kiddie cup of cookie dough ice cream and it was really freezer burned - it tasted extremely gritty and just wasn't edible unfortunately. I NEVER return food...I hate doing it, truly, but I wanted to see if I could get a different flavor and just let the staff know, so that they could replace either the container or just so no one else had the same issue. They refused to replace it with a different flavor which I totally understand if I had eaten the entire thing and tried to do that haha - I did not do that at all.
