Amazing experience at Callahans! My now husband and I went in together to design my engagement ring after my brother had recommended them. We’re both on the younger side, but we were both taken seriously and walked through the whole process with understanding and patience. We were educated on the diamond buying process and our budget was respected and never pushed to go higher than we were comfortable. Gene ordered multiple bands/diamonds and had several options for us to choose from so I really felt I was getting what I wanted and not just settling. When the final product came in and wasn’t quite what I expected, Gene took it back without hesitation and worked with their designer to make it right, all while staying in contact with us throughout every step of the process.

My wife and I have worked with Callahan Jewelers for years. They have been consistently skilled, serious, friendly and fair in all our dealings. Recently I gave them an old fragile gold ring that had lost one of three sapphires. They replaced it, cleaned it and charged a completely reasonable amount for the repair. It happened that a second sapphire was lost soon after. It was possible it had been loosened by the previous repair but that was in no way clear. I brought the ring back.They replaced the missing stone, strengthened the ring and shined it up again. Beautiful work. They would not accept payment of any kind. I offered to pay or share the expense which they gently and happily refused saying simply, "we stand by our work." I stand by...

If you value you're fine jewelry, do not have your repairs done here! They took my beautiful engagement ring and ruined it. Instead of using 14k gold as I asked for, they repaired portions of the ring setting with some other metal and then gold plated it. It was 6 months later and I noticed the entire inside of my ring was black and tarnished! Real gold does not turn black! They repaired the ring with fake gold and charged me $350 dollars! Callahan's was deceptive and told me they used 14k gold. Don't trust them! Don't use them! Going forward I will have to have my ring re plated with gold again and again to cover the the cheap metal they filled it with. Very angry and disappointed!
