Zenith Park — Attraction in Cloudcroft

Located across from the high school in Cloudcroft on Highway 82. Many events happen at Zenith Park throughout the year behind the chamber of commerce. The park has the Cloudcroft pavilion where they have light operas/plays during the summer. There is also a ice-skating rink in the winter and during the summer they use the area for the farmers market and sometimes birthday parties, etc. I do believe you have to contact the Village of Cloudcroft to rent out the ice-skating rink for events along with the pavilion. In the park, there is also a large field, where people play football, soccer, or play with their dogs. There is a dog park, located behind the tennis/pickle ball courts as well. Very nice atmosphere in Dave's restaurant. Food was very good. The Halloween display and tour was absolutely great. Had a little trouble walking thru as two of the people I was with had walkers and they could not manage the four sets of stairs. So they could not get in to see all of the displays. Lots of fun there. They have put a lot of thinking, art work, and just work in general in the place. Definitely bigger and better than it was two years ago. And it was good then. A good park to go to but only if it’s cloudy or not very hot. We went during the summer and unfortunately the metal rails were a bit too hot for the kids so we had to go elsewhere. Conveniently located not even a mile away from the strip in cloudcroft., so close to some good restaurants and shops while the adults do some shopping. Fire station across the street., off the main road., expansion in place as of summer 23’., so I see more people visiting in the coming winter. Glad we went., can’t wait to see the new...
