I have had the absolute WORST time with this company. Our salesman in the store was kind and payment and paperwork were easy and the furniture itself is beautiful, no problems there. However, I was scheduled delivery on Wednesday December 30th and told my estimated delivery time was 8:30am and that I was the first delivery of the day. I was also told that I would get a courtesy phone call 30min before they arrive. No phone call, and they arrive at 9:45am. So that is a problem to me right there. My mother accepted my delivery on my behalf because I was at work. She stayed since 8:30am for the delivery and inspected the furniture when it arrived. I was supposed to have 8 pieces total. My mother was not purchasing the furniture, so she did not know exactly what was supposed to be delivered, but it was assumed the delivery crew had a checklist and were responsible. They said "That's everything" and left. I recieved a call at work an hour later saying "we forgot the nightstands, it was behind other furniture, we are coming back now" I had painters at the house so they could get in, I come home to ONE nightstand. Are you kidding me? When I called about it they said they would call me around 1pm the next day, Thursday, once the truck came back. By Saturday, no phone call. Very upset, I called and was told the delivery men marked down that they delivered both nightstands and that was the problem. I mean can they not count to 8? I was told yet again I would receive a phone call on Tuesday with an update. What a shock, NO PHONE CALL. Today is exactly a week, Wednesday, and I called furious. Still no update. NEVER dealing with this company again and would not recommend them. This furniture is expensive and we paid a lot of money for our pieces, this should not have gone down like this. Read moreOrdered a living room set at the beginning of Dec 2015 - our sales associate also sold us on getting an area that was $1000 - a little high but we loved the rug - at time of purchase the rug was in back order and wasn't available until end of Feb. I told the sales associate maybe we should wait and get it later she said "no, sometimes these orders come quicker that usual" my wife and I said ok we will wait - fast forward to feb - no one from Havertys ever called us to follow up on our $1000 dollar order - soo my wife called and they said no it's not avaiable yet looks like march - soo we wait until march - again no follow up from our salesperson or management - we called at the beginning of march - we where told it looks like the end of march - we sent a complaint to corporate- our salesperson contacts us and says we should have it by march 24th- march 24th came no delivery - i calles our salesperson-shes on vacation - i asked for the GM - the manager called me back and told looks like I'll receive the rug 1st week in April. He also said he will compensate me for the inconvenience. 1st week in april the rug was delivered. I had to call back in to havertys to follow up - again no one calls you back. We've been up and down Highway 1 in search of a leather sofa, not plether, not half leather and cloth sides, a completely leather sofa. As we were beginning to wonder if such a sofa existed within our budget, our last stop for the day was at Haverty's. Linda was our Sales Associate and as we wondered thru the store and saw everything, she came and assisted us with finding everything on our list. We were fortunate to find many of our items on sale and the craftsmanship and quality of their entire store is well worth spending the time with the various options shown.
