I visited Spare Time with my close friends this weekend hoping to enjoy some bowling and arcade games. However, this was not possible as when we were in the arcade and hit the "jackpot" on one of the games, and went to go redeem our tickets, we were denied them. Even though I provided the arcade workers with photographic evidence of the number displayed on the game screen, we were made out to seem like we were lying. I find it ridiculous that after spending more than $50 on credit for these games, the staff could not even respect the number on the screen. It is their job to accommodate for and resolve issues for customers. Being that proof was provided, and there were 5 of us that all saw the machine hit the jackpot, I can only assume the lack of respect and regard for our words is because we are BIPOC. Other than that, we honestly don't understand why we were treated this way. We will not be going back, this place just wants to scam people. How is it that after $50 dollars and the lack of respect for true events all we were only able to redeem were AirHeads and Krabby Patties that are like 50 cents each?

Spare Time in Colchester is an amazing spot and one of the best places to visit in Vermont for indoor fun! Conveniently located just across from Costco Wholesale, it offers plenty of parking. This place has something for everyone—whether you’re a kid or an adult. From bowling to laser tag and many other exciting games, there’s no shortage of entertainment. The atmosphere is lively and perfect for spending quality time with friends and family. Inside, there’s also a great selection of food and a fully stocked bar to enjoy while you’re playing or relaxing. Spare Time is ideal not just for casual visits but also for hosting events like birthday parties or any kind of gathering. If you’re visiting Vermont or live nearby, this is a must-visit spot. It’s very reasonably priced and the perfect place to chill out and have a blast with your loved ones! Highly recommended!

Great place for the whole family and fun atmosphere. Arcade is perfect to for kids. Laser tag and escape rooms. I think they have events rooms upstairs as well. 2nd year celebrating my birthday here. To save money, call and tell them you want the “Party On” package ($159.99 per lane). It includes: • 2 Hours of Bowling • Shoe Rental for up to 6 guests per lane • One 16″ Cheese or Pepperoni Pizza per lane • Choice of One Appetizer Platter per lane • Soft Drinks Food is good! If you have kids, nephews and nieces. I recommend going in an hour early so you can play at the arcade before your bowling time. Our only minor issue was that I had to go to the counter and reminded them that our bowling time was suppose to start at 4pm and it was already 4:05pm. You cant play unless they turn it on their computer. Every minute counts I told them. Overall good experience!

I recently had the pleasure of visiting an entertainment facility that completely exceeded my expectations, and I owe a significant part of my wonderful experience to an outstanding individual named Patrick. From the moment I stepped into the venue, Patrick's dedication to providing top-notch service and creating a vibrant atmosphere for customers was evident.

First and foremost, Patrick's attention to detail is truly commendable. Whether it was ensuring that the bowling lanes were impeccably set up or meticulously maintaining the arcade machines, Patrick's commitment to excellence shone through. It's the little things that make a big difference, and Patrick's meticulous approach contributed significantly to the overall positive ambiance of the entertainment facility.

One of the highlights of my visit was interacting with Patrick at the front desk. His warm and welcoming demeanor immediately put me at ease. Patrick not only possesses excellent customer service skills but goes above and beyond to make each visitor feel valued and appreciated. His genuine interest in ensuring that everyone has a memorable time is palpable, making him an invaluable asset to the facility.

What sets Patrick apart is his unique ability to provide entertainment beyond the scope of his job description. On several occasions, I witnessed Patrick engaging with customers, creating a lively and enjoyable atmosphere. Whether he was showcasing his skills in the arcade or organizing impromptu fun activities, Patrick's enthusiasm added an extra layer of excitement to the overall experience.

Patrick's multitasking abilities are truly impressive. Even during peak hours, he managed to handle front desk responsibilities efficiently while simultaneously contributing to the entertainment factor for guests. It's clear that Patrick is not just an employee; he's a passionate advocate for ensuring that everyone who walks through the doors has an unforgettable time.

Beyond his professional duties, Patrick's passion for what he does shines through in every interaction. He genuinely enjoys bringing joy to others, and it's contagious. His positive energy is infectious, creating an atmosphere that makes the entertainment facility stand out among the rest.

In addition to his outstanding service, Patrick's knowledge of the facility's offerings was extensive. He took the time to provide recommendations based on my preferences, ensuring that I got the most out of my visit. Patrick's expertise added a personal touch to the overall experience, making me feel like more than just a customer.

In conclusion, my experience at this entertainment facility was elevated to new heights thanks to Patrick's exceptional service. His attention to detail, dedication to customers, and ability to provide entertainment beyond the norm make him an invaluable asset to the establishment. If you're looking for a memorable and enjoyable time, I highly recommend visiting this venue and crossing paths with the phenomenal Patrick. Five stars are simply not enough to express my gratitude for the outstanding service...

I want to start off by saying I generally do not leave reviews. However, my family and I went there over the weekend and we had a decent sized group. The wait time wasn't as long as we expected which was nice. However it is a little more expensive than I anticipated.. Not a big deal compared to the rest of our experience. Our server Melinda was not attentive whatsoever. We ended up going to the bar majority of the time as we were patiently waiting for her to come and grab our drink orders. The food was amazing and surprisingly delicious for a bowling alley. I enjoyed every thing we ordered especially the nachos! The drinks were gr at thanks to the bartender as well. Appreciate you guys for being so quick. The most upsetting part was when our group was leaving and walking past the kitchen entrance or employee entrance ( I assume) there was our "waitress" Melinda.and another female worker smoking a weed pen within 4-5 ft of where we parked our vehicle and had it blowing in our two younger children's (3 & 5) faces as we tried to rush them into the car to avoid it blowing in their/our faces. So inappropriate and truly disrespectful way to end our time and also poor behavior on Spare Times part. Also noticed 20% was added onto our entire groups tab at the end as we didn't tip the lane server because we had walked to the bar after placing first initial food/drink orders and didn't feel we were properly attended too ,... So we left the tip for the bartender and when my husband got a receipt for the main tab with our waitress there was 20% added for a gratuity that no one in our group had even agreed or had any knowledge of.... We live close by and have came here just by ourselves over the years and had no problems at all with the bartender(s), lane waitresses or front desk associates in the past. This last experience was enough for us to say we will be taking our family and children elsewhere in the future. Sparetime should be ashamed as this is a family center not a groupie hang spot for employees to overcharge customers for such lack of work ethic and respect to those who chose to spend lots of money ,time and trust that our children will be safe and that the card we put on file wasn't being taken advantage of.. Watch out if you choose to enjoy a family outting with such careless employee(s) . Pay attention to your gratuity on your bill and park away from employee entrance . We will not be...

Bowling was fine until I tried to go get a drink from the bar. I had already gotten a drink that night. The bartender took my ID and didn’t even say anything to me before bringing it into the back and keeping it for upwards of 20 minutes (we were paying for bowling by the hour- wasting my money). I was then told by two girls (not even the bartender that took my ID) that there were ‘discrepancies’ with my ID and tried saying it was fake and they were going to take it. I argued and said that it’s my Real ID (i’m 23) and to call the police to confirm it. I also told them I still had my expired ID from when I was under 21 (with matching license #s) and they wouldn’t even look at it. They then said that they won’t call the police but they wouldn’t serve me for the rest of the night. I told them to call the police because I wanted a drink and then they didn’t feel like dealing with it. Not only did they waste my time, they were extremely rude (I saw servers whispering to each other while looking at me before so got my ID back) and not willing to listen at all. They also lied and told me there was an ID scanner in the kitchen area (NOT TRUE) and that it ‘wasn’t working properly’ but then I was later told they call 1800FAKEID. Regardless, my treatment in this establishment will never be forgotten, and with the extreme price increase of bowling I don’t see myself coming back. So to anyone who is legally allowed to drink and is in their 20s, stay away it’s...
