Today was my first big shopping trip w/ my new son and w/o my hubby. I brought paint to match and the first guy that helped me was super nice, but I didn't get his name. He was younger with dark hair and was on shift before Aaron. After he made my paint, I asked if he carried these red spout/covers for paint cans. He said he hadn’t heard of them. But instead of just dismissing it, he actually went and double checked. And sure enough he had them. So kudos to him for going the extra mile! ...So, after I purchased my paint and spout thingies, I carried all that and the stroller out to my car with my screaming son. Of course when I was fumbling about, I dropped BOTH cans and they spilled all over the parking lot AND the stroller tumbled into the paint puddle. *cries* Then took my son back in and told the customer service desk my plight. Lori and Joe were so helpful and even ensured I could take fresh cans home at no extra charge. At this time, Aaron was on shift in the paint center and was so nice and helpful. And also recommended I could use mineral stuff to get the oil paint out of the splattered stroller. He even helped me carry everything up front. Lori was my cashier and she got my son to finally stop crying. And she helped me get a buggy out this time. So thank you so much to Joe, Lori, Aaron and pre-Aaron paint guy! You made a bad night out much much better! ( Also I'm sorry about your parking lot :( )

At first I gave this place a good rating only because I liked the garden center, but after today that all changed. I have never been so humiliated in my life. Bought $300 worth of merchandise at the self checkout. I was watched the whole time....that's fine. I understand that's the worker's job. Once I totaled out and paid, I walked the entire length of the store to leave because my Jeep was on the opposite end. I passed up 3 managers having a discussion, waited for a guy that had to move a pallet, and passed 2-3 other workers before I made it to the exit TO BE RUDELY STOPPED BY THE GREETER WHO EYEBALLED ME UNTIL I MADE IT HALFWAY PASS THE EXIT TO ASK FOR MY RECEIPT! I use to be a prison guard, so I know how questionable people act. I wasn't acting questionable at all. I was the only one he stopped and was the only one wearing a mask. He didn't even look at the entire receipt or try and match the receipt to the items. If this is protocol, then place a sign that says "please have your receipt ready when you leave." If I wanted this kind of treatment, I would have shopped at Walmart. After being humiliated, he said "come back." WHAT!? SERIOUSLY!? I don't think so.

I was looking at battery-operated lighting too long and was asked if I needed help. I said "no" and then realized I was blocking the fork lift. I am used to tuning out noises around me. Next time, either the worker with the flags or this associate could have said something instead of making me feel unwelcome. After finding the appropriate light, I proceeded to find another item and was asked again by the same person and the rest of her group if I needed help, and again, I said, "No." One second later, and before I could move, I was asked again. This was getting stupid, and they were watching me constantly, so I walked over to the aisle that my husband was in and pointed. Please, no bs about these employees trying to help me. I do some of my own home repair. I bought a TUFF shed from you back in August 2024. Was this a stupid decision? I was the one who pushed for the upgrades when they were suggested. If you don't want me to shop your store we need to have a serious discussion.

Wish there were zero stars. Terrible terrible operations at this store. I have had numerous issues at this store, all of them during back to back visits. The employees that are suppose to be providing customer service at the customer service side are extremely rude and lack basic skills to operate customer service based job. This is not just from one visit.I have on many occasions been signaled to keep moving towards their cash registers when attempting to check out 1-3 items. This is no way to communicate with your customers, and frankly is unacceptable. The store is laid out so terribly the main entrance is on one end and exit on entirely other end. The exit is basically near what is designated pro area which is always busy, blocked by trails, trucks, people loading. A consumer can put up with these things, because we are use to it but what I refuse to put up with is shear lack of care for customer service and the rudeness that is on display at their customer service both, I experienced this three times over the past two days I have visited this store. It is unacceptable & quite frankly I'm surprised this is allowed to happen. Will be cutting up my Home Depot cc for sure! After...

STILL WAITING FOR THE STORE MANAGER TO RETURN MY CALL TO DISCUSS: Is it common knowledge that a plunger is not a refundable purchase, even if there's no sign posted with that notice? I thought I would see about a better plunger for my house. There are plenty of common plain ole plungers, but I thought the one priced twice as much as the others must be some special plunger -- Korky, it was. Not only was it not better, it was not as good as the cheaper models. (The rubber bell shape is too thick, and doesn't flex easily, so it makes an unnecessary mess flexing up and down.) I had the sense to test it on a clean toilet, and found it a bad product. When I returned it, with a receipt, for a refund, the cashier made a phone call and reported back that the plunger was some kind of sanitary issue and couldn't be returned. Again, THERE WAS NO SIGN AT THE PLUNGERS SAYING THIS ITEM IS NOT RETURNABLE. Am I wrong to have this expectation, given the prevailing mercantile practice in so many stores in the country? I am reinforced in my opinion that it's good there is more than one big-box home improvement store around. One more reason not to do business with The Home Depot if it can be...
