I've been walking passed/through this park a few times a week for the past 4 years. It's not a bad park considering where it's located. It gets crowded in the evening throughout the spring and summer. Patrons generally keep to themselves. Be mindful on walking paths. The bike traffic is manageable, but there is a lot of traffic from electric scooters and other motorized personal transportation vehicles. Playground equipment is serviceable. It's not dangerous or terribly outdated. That being said, I wouldn't recommend leaving children unattended at this park. I also don't recommend fishing the Anacostia...

Me and my boyfriend love going for walks, and we recently visited this area for the first time—even though I live nearby. We had such a great experience!

The weather was perfect, and the water and scenery around the area were just beautiful. Everything about the place is peaceful and impressive.

I absolutely loved it and can’t wait to go back. If you’re looking for a nice, relaxing place to walk or just enjoy nature, you should definitely...

This park is a hiding jewel in the area. Not only is beautiful but is MASSIVE!!!!! You will need at least 2 days to explore the entire place completely. It is filled with soccer fields, football, softball, basketball courts etc. There are many picnic areas for cookouts, bday parties, plenty of parking. You can definently get a good long walk and bike through the entire park, all the way to the...

A lovely park with a nice mix of recreation areas and nature opportunities. There's wide open spaces, a basketball court, a tennis court, baseball fields, soccer fields, a playground, some trails that lead down to the river. You can do some exploring here. There's always a few people here, often families, but it's never really busy either. And it's right off the bike trail.

Visited 06.17.23 Went to walk the trail and I was impressed on how clean the park was and how all the baseball fields and playgrounds looked well maintained and new looking. There is a deeply wooded trail that doesn’t really appear on the map that walks along side of the river and one spot in the south that takes you to riverside dock area at Dueling Creek.
