I've been walking passed/through this park a few times a week for the past 4 years. It's not a bad park considering where it's located. It gets crowded in the evening throughout the spring and summer. Patrons generally keep to themselves. Be mindful on walking paths. The bike traffic is manageable, but there is a lot of traffic from electric scooters and other motorized personal transportation vehicles. Playground equipment is serviceable. It's not dangerous or terribly outdated. That being said, I wouldn't recommend leaving children unattended at this park. I also don't recommend fishing the Anacostia...
