Let me start off by saying I’ve worked here for 10 months before I quit. When I first started the rgm at the time was always rude to me and always yelling. Then the shift supervisor (Ms. Pat) would talk to me and treat me like a child. This wasn’t just only me but they would do it to the other employees but mostly me because I was new. A couple months went by and I was trying to leave KFC, people started getting nicer because they didn’t want me to go. Around January, I started getting put on Drive Thru endlessly (almost everyday.) And with drive thru, there’s a 90 second timer. 90 seconds to take the order and 90 seconds to give the customer their food. There’s also multiple parts to drive thru. Taking the order, packing the food, and taking the money. (In which you’re supposed to have someone doing each one) but to save labor, I would have to take the order, and take the money. Sometimes I would get left alone in drive thru so I would have to do ALL 3. Which is absurd to do in the 90 second time period by yourself. Most of the time we also had to pull the cars to the parking lot, so I had to then race outside, give them their food, and race back inside to take someone else’s order. It’s a lot of stress on someone to be in drive thru, let alone by themselves. Take it from me, I’ve had multiple anxiety attacks from working here. Towards the end of me working at KFC, there’s a new manager who came in his name is Chakuma. Or I think that’s how you spell it. He seemed cool at first, until I worked with him. If I was on drive thru with him, he would NEVER help and I mean never. He MIGHT help the first 30 minutes to an hour but then he leaves to go in the back. When he goes in the back, (the office) he just stays there for the whole shift. Leaving me to be by myself, what is the point of being a manager if you’re not managing?? And I witnessed it myself, I went back to the office to see what he was doing and he was just sitting down on his phone smh! And one time he was hanging out the drive thru window on his phone again! But he sends people home for them being on their phone?? You’re not being a role model. Also, he tends to get smart and rude with me. The first time I waved it off. The second time it happened, he pulled up on me and started getting rude talking about pot pies. In which I responded then, he got rude again. I told him I couldn’t do it, and that he needed to get on drive thru. He told me go ahead and clock out and go home. You can’t expect to get rude with me and then when I respond back you want to send me home. The only managers that have been good at what they do and have never been disrespectful to employees are: Cowanna, Latiesha, Taborra, Tesha. They are 100% genuine in what they do, and they know how to do...
Read moreThe staff at this location see me often, and I really believe they are holding the location together.
Earlier this evening, during a brief slow moment, I decided to go place my usual orders. The staff (always very professional and kind and communicative) did the normal work of getting orders out to drivers in the drive through, delivery drivers, etc… They were clearly on top of it.
When I got my food (ridiculously quick), I drove off with the normal trust that my order was all there and kept my evening moving. A drive home later, I noticed I was missing two tacos, two sides — essentially the other meal I ordered.
Under normal circumstances, I’d probably call this experience bad — lots of calling the restaurant, hoping a brief blip didn’t mess up someone else’s order — but it just showed how pressured the staff is. The customer service was amazing and the communication kept up, but all the external pressures probably mean you need more staffing in those key rushes.
TLDR: Support the dope workers! If I have to lose $10 to make that point, then $10 well spent! The people are good at what they do....
Read moreBeen coming to this location for years and had problems on and off but tonight was by far the WORSE experience ever at this location. I went through the drive thru. The lady on the speaker was nice but once I got to the window the lady there was very short and frustrated and it showed. I received my food with NO receipt and once I pulled off I realized that all of my food was NOT in the bag. I go back through the drive through because tonight it wasn't crowded and she had the nastiest attitude. I advised I did. It recurve on if my meals ($5.00 fill up box 2pc), that one of my orders was incorrect and missing something, and that I needed honey mustard for my tenders. Her attitude was terrible for a mistake they made on their part. It is not always this way at that location but tonight I had to review because it was not necessary. I tried to call to speak with a manager but the line is busy. Added a few pics of what I received and it's condition. Just...
