Subway intentionally overcharged me for my combo and the size of the sandwich. I asked for the daily combo, which is $6.99+ tax. Today's deal is for turkey, so I asked for a 6" turkey on Italian Herbs and Cheese. The bread was correct, but the sandwich was not 6". The server made an approximate cut, which means that the other person receiving the other half of the loaf will receive more than 6" (free extra, thanks to my shorted portion). Why doesn't Subway have a ruler on the counter so that everyone can get equal halves of the loaf? It's not like there have not been complaints about the same exact thing in the past.
STOP FALSELY ADVERTISING 6", UNLESS IT'S ACTUALLY 6" OR ADD THAT IT'S ROUNDABOUT IN THE FINE PRINT
Now, back to the price that I was overcharged. The deal was supposed to be for $6.99, but I was charged $7.29+ tax. I thought that it was a little strange that I was asked to pay $7.72, but was going to let it go until I saw my receipt. I was charged that amount because the cashier upcharged me on the size of the cup, even though I never asked for a larger size. I asked him why he took it upon himself to upsize me and he was trying to explain it like he was "looking out" for me.
Let this be a lesson, especially if you visit this particular location. They are ripping people off. You probably aren't carrying around a ruler (I wasn't either, but had one at my desk at work), but I can definitely comprehend receipts. Read more🤔I went in for a 1/2 cold cut sub /w a cheddar broccoli soup meal (but also had wanted some chicken noodle soup as an alternative choice🤷🏽♂️grandparents). My order was prepared in a timely matter due to it was the slow peak hours😎. I accidentally grabbed the bag that the soup was in incorrectly so the soup spilled😢🤦🏽♂️. The employee(but I assume she's the manager because of the humility she displayed & they we're wearing the same uniform) listened my concern to what occurred after I left the establishment from recieving my order. A little rush came in (maybe 6 or 7 hungry customers came in as I was about to get the replace cup to pr my soup in. I humbled myself and waited patiently as the other patrons placed they're order. The young lady employee(she was older than I was but showing respect and gratitude because a man never ask a ladies age) called me to the register and gave me a new soup. I only went back into the establishment to swap soup cups but because of my patience I was rewarded with a new soup and was also warned to be careful this time. After telling me they wouldn't put my veggie patty into a wrap I asked why not the sign says any sandwich made the way you like and the worker had the nerve to say to me she doesn't understand English.
