Where do I start… The IHOP from Hell. Piss poor service and ice cold pancakes. My family sat unattended to for 35 minutes before I walked over to the two waitress laughing and joking behind the front desk an asked for a server, Olu rolled her eyes grabbed a pen & pad and walked over to my table. While ordering food my sister EMPHASIZED… TWICE that she wanted TWO waffles for her daughter, Olu pretended to write it down and came out 20 minutes later with ONE. When my sister politely reminded her she rolled her eyes and went to go hide in the back for another 30 minutes, by the time she had come back my sister and her daughter had finished their drinks and they asked her for refills that are FREE and she brought them. When she came back my sister asked for cutlery since we haven’t gotten any yet, even tho we’d been seated for close to an hour at that point. We even had to ask for syrup…. because there was none on the table…. at the INTERNATIONAL HOUSE OF PANCAKES. 10 minutes later I asked her for a refill on my drink, and she said “You’ll be charged for it.” Even though soft drink refills are FREE. I literally JUST watched her bring free refills to my table. I was so disgusted with the treatment my family an I received we decided to ask for the check, when she brung it I also asked if I could speak with a manager, Olu went in the back and came out with a tall muscular male employee an I asked “Are you the manager?” He said “No, my name’s Mike.” I said “Okay Mike, what’s your last name?” To which he replied “Mike.” It was clear at that point she just went and got him cause she mistakenly thought he would intimidate me or something… which…. L O L. Nevertheless, I asked ‘Mike’ for his email address so I could leave a review and then he said “Well, the GM is here, you can just talk to her.” So I asked him to go in the back and get her. When the GM came out she was nice and polite and seemingly the ONLY person who clocked in that day willing to WORK and SERVE customers. She gave me her email address, something ‘Mike the Manager’ was unwilling to do, and that was… odd to say the least. I want to know if the IHOP corporation at large condone’s this treatment of its patrons? Are selective free refills a company wide practice? Trust and believe, mark my words, I WILL NOT let this go, and will be following up daily. I’m excited to hear from you guys…. cause you SURELY will be...
Read moreThe Kitchen Staff got our order wrong. Who wants to wait, especially @ an IHOP! Right!?🤔 You're already hungry... Patience. Our Server was very pleasant & apologetic about the incorrect entrees. However, once corrected, the meal was satisfying. Then there was an issue with "watered down" Orange Juice. My Friend was unhappy with it. Our Server, again came to the rescue. He asked that his glass of "OJ" be removed from our bill. She obliged. (Thankfully, No Need for Me to Speak to Manager) Overall bill amount, wasn't "too expensive", considering... I had a Breakfast Entrée & My Guy Friend had his favorite Dinner IHOP meal.🥩 FYI: IHOP did have many 🆕 Menu selections, especially BREAKFAST options (Dinner too, like 🐟"Fish & Chips! Of course, the old staples remained) Breakfast, at home or @ restaurants is My Favorite!🍳🥓🥞🧇My "English Breakfast " Tea selection ☕(with 🍯 honey & lemon🍋) was 👌 Perfect! I was actually impressed, as I "assumed" it might just be plain Lipton Tea (For the Record, "I do like Lipton Tea", as a bona fide Tea Connoisseur from "The First in Flight ✈️🛫State"). Hadn't been to that location in awhile... Must be "under 🆕 Management". YES, Of Course, We provided a Tip, as She deserved it. (One Year, there were beautiful Sunflowers growing in front of this particular IHOP Restaurant location. Hope They re-planted. Love...
Read moreThis place was clean, and the service was absolutely awesome. The young lady who was our waitress hadn't even clocked in yet, but because we were standing there, she seated us, gave us our menus, and even took our preliminary drink orders, THEN went to clock in. You really can't beat service like that. I'd give this IHOP a good rating except for the fact of foreign objects in my fiancé s food. Firstly, there was a piece of what looked to be the plastic from Saran Wrap cooked UNDER the coating of one of her onion rings. Now, Im not unreasonable...things like that can happen even in the most meticulous of places. I probably would've entirely forgiven it, except a few bites into her sandwich later, she found a piece of hard, blue plastic (of unidentifiable origin). Now, we are all very concerned that a child may be in extreme danger from something swallowed there---and, also, if there was that much found in two separate food items, what was in the rest; and, moreover, what had we already ingested? The bottom line is, not only will I never go back there again, but I feel compelled to warn against anyone else going there, either....
