This has easily become our favorite park in the springs. It is so sensory friendly and handicapped inclusive. The spinner is ground level with 2 spots for wheelchairs to go right on, love asd kiddos love the roller slide, several disk swings, soft play climbing area is great for sensory seekers, several covered picnic benches and tables. We had a birthday party here a few weeks ago and it was very fun and easy to find a place to set up and the kids had a great time. The splash pad is fun, bring your towels. The bike course in the back is amazing and sometimes over looked so make sure you bring your bikes! My children love digging in the sand and there is an entire sand area. This park took everything we love and put it into one location! The only down is the parking lot is small (but you can also park in the street and across at the peak vista which is never full). The park is not fenced so if you have an eloper you need to be aware, however the road and parking lot are a good 100 feet from the playground or splash pad area so you should be able to catch them before they get anywhere dangerous. Part of me wants to keep this amazing park to myself and the other part of me wants to share it...
Read moreI would have to complement this park. For some of the parks on the south end of Colorado Springs. They can lack in amenities, upkeep, & feel outdated. This Panorama Park On the other hand. The park (including all helping hands that made it possible) did a pretty stellar job with how small (Small 13 acres) of a space it is. To be able to cater to just about anyone. It's a pretty park with a Colorado touch and art appreciation. Brand new opened in 2022. Happy it's well taken care of. Seems to have enough space for all the families that visit daily. It also has quite a variety of amenities from your football field, Dirt Bike trail, paved walks, play place, skate park, rock climbing, picnic area. The only complaint is no attention to providing something for the dog's but at least they are welcome. Please add a dog obstacle course and enclosed park. That would...
Read morePark smelled so strong of MOLD. Not just the splash pad that stunk so bad of mold, but the actual play area the rubber flooring is all moldy, the fake grass is moldy, my throat was swollen the short time I was there I had to leave so fast. I couldn’t escape the mold smell. Drainage issues under the artificial flooring here. A lot of rain this spring has made it awful. Could see pink, black, and white mold on things.
Not only that really bad part, but it was filthy. Kid is allergic to a lot food (dairy, peanut, egg, sesame) and there was food all over the ground and being sold illegally by some immigrants - I wouldn’t of cared before I realized the dangers having an allergy kid - so many kids have allergies and now parks aren’t even safe. Please keep your food off the playground! Kids could...
