The Broadmoor Golf Club — Attraction in Colorado Springs

We had an enjoyable time playing both the east and the west golf courses at the Broadmoor. The greens on the west course were excellent. The scenery on both courses were really extravagant. The only issue we had was with the golf cart and lack of direction signs. The cart had a sensor on it and anytime we went beyond an "invisible" line on the golf course near the green the cart would stop and you have to back up. I have no issue with this- the problem was sometimes when we weren't even near the green this went off! Simple solution would be to have an occasional small sign along the invisible line near the green - saying carts then with arrow pointing in the direction one should drive! The best in town except two things, expensive to get in besides you will put in waiting list, and snuddy rich people makes you feel like you are invading their territories otherwise nice place for fun and beautiful nature surrounding you from everywhere. I just attached new pictures the brown glass building use to be the old broadmoor golf club but not anymore you can see it is abandoned and the grass dying all over, lot of weeds, dry cracked fields and the reason is the people that lives around the old golf club complained and said that the ground under their homes is moving from too much water that's been used for the golf club grass, it looks sad to see all that beautiful land to be left dry and not...

We play the West and East every year but I have to say that playing the West was nearly impossible due to the super fast greens. It was windy and very dry with no rain for several days and they were as hard as rock. Pool table is an apt description. And each one had a false front, or a dome, or dropped away from the mountain. A chip w slight back spin hitting 5 fr in front of the pin can end up 20-30 ft past the pin. Ridiculous. So spend time on the practice green and end very gentle on the greens.

Stemp was 12.5 on West and today on East 13!
