Planet Fitness — Attraction in Columbia Heights

July 2022 I told the gym staff I didn’t need any help in getting to who I liked at gym they didn’t need to anything about it. They told me they had his medical records, major violation privacy. By Oct 26, gym staff and unknown stranger stopped me at the front desk who told me how he knew my schedule asked why and what I do at the gym and to talk about my “personal life” no dice, they told all about some guy I liked he his criminal white collar crime and addict called me names and my mom etc.. totally put into a severe panic attack.On top of that I requested manager not to tell the guy like what happened but they did and told me in public I’m judgmental. I needed police report, restraining order on the staff and stranger because its harassment gym don’t care for my own well-being or safety. I was member before some of staff were employed. Did all I could to report them going beyond manager who wanted me to sweep it under the rug and accept disrespect not very good resolution. And then I got angry at anything from the gym staff whom and they allegedly I violated the rules terminated my gym don’t care for my own well-being or safety. Did all I could to report them going beyond manager who wanted me to sweep it under the rug and accept disrespect not very good resolution. when I wasn’t at the gym they didn’t say exactly Which all may have caused severe emotional problem according to my lawyer we will know in two weeks if we going to have to deal with emotional issues. Then I need to choose my battles carefully. They have issues to be handled by my lawyer and when I can deal with clarity and get the closure I need. Now I watch my back at all gyms from creepers, I should be able to trust people.

Besides guys involved claimed that gym guy was going to pull out nun chucks on me via text message, who then follows me out of my office to the new gym and doesn't say anything for 6 months then now goes ghost right everyday I leave my gym wondering what kind drama is going to stir up or send his minions in to do it and carry a weapon. Key fob or nun chucks..

Was the harassment/ hostility offense motivated by ( partly or wholly ) by sexual orientation or by my known injuries to the gym staff /gym members hidden disability.

How does going to the gym meeting new people minding my own business turn into this , gees I thought I was making a friendship not crime show or to get dehumanized by other stalker gym goers who Some of these guys that verbally attacked my own mom who's deaf, so because I look Caucasian legally Latina -x with hidden disability known. It’s called dehumanization by other race and the gym manager didn’t comply with me request police report needed, sending thru a fury of internalization that I don’t get paid for.

The gym mistreated the Guy I like dated at the gym and next myself, caused him to go emotionally deregulated / flawed /defective. Which I have facts saw as a witness to some of it. Also according to other former gym employees, gym goers at night there were doing d spirit work hanging out at cemeteries . Spell work on you and three that were playing in my face as if they ain’t. And laughing in my face, when my holocaust surviving uncle passed away, I have stronger god than them or that. Whatever been sent to me will be sent right back, crazy...

Pretty solid gym for such a cheap membership. It gets pretty busy during the afternoon rush (like most gyms) but Its not the worst thing ever, and it is to be expected. I dont mind sharing. I DO wish people would re-rack in the proper spots every time but it could definitely be worse... I will now present my pro's and con's of this gym.

Pro's: Super cheap! I mean come on, its basically free!! Location for me, yes I know this is specific, but location was great for me. Staff is great. They are welcoming when you arrive and never seem salty, even though I be salty from workin' up a sweat! (literally, not figuratively. I am nice, hehe) Fairly Clean equipment, though sometimes the machines stay broken for a decent amount of time

Con's: Very limited lifting equipment. Only smith machines for barbell exercises, which kinda sucks, plus they only have 4 of them so they're always full and I usually have to wait... bummer, because they have a thousand treadmills that never get fully used. No Erg(rowing machine) I love the erg because i used to row but other PF locations have their weird version of them at least.

Overall, I give this 4 stars, but would really like to give it 3.75 because at least for me, it lacked equipment so I might upgrade soon for that reason alone. IF all you are after is the more basic stuff, its a great gym for you and very affordable, so for that reason, I recommend it. If you wanna get hard core, maybe look for a bigger gym with more weight training stuff, or pool/sauna,...

This Planet Fitness is flooded with fake reviews. This location is definitely not a 4 star location. Where to begin? Lazy Employees, Dirty Gym, Parking Lot not well maintained, Terrible business hours, and poorly maintained gym. So before I begin I will address the new machines they added. Sure that is great but does not make up for the overall quality of this Planet Fitness. I been coming to this gym for years, not because I love Planet Fitness, but because of the location that it is at; close to my home, surrounded by businesses, etc. However, this gym lacks good employees, I have met some amazing employees over the years but the best have gone on to do amazing things. For the past year the turn around on employees were some of the lowest quality. Employees are low in morale, constantly looking down on people, do not put any effort in their job role and responsibility, poorly keep locker room/bathroom clean, rarely keep napkins and clean supplies in the gym restocked, always hide from the front desk, get upset if they have to close and people want a last minute workout, believe management here needs to really evaluate their standards to improve employee efforts here, or at least have a manager present for a few days/weeks during the three shifts they might have to improve quality here.
