update 4 - this location has degraded as the years pass. the demographic is changing for the worse since addition of dollar tree as a neighbor. store is always unkepted and always out of stock on so many items while nearby location have them. the parking lot is full of garbage. panhandlers greet and bid farewell to you at the entry. avoid this one if you can

update 3 - as per usual, this target did not have what i needed while ALL the surrounding targets had the items i needed. had to make another target run šŸ˜’

update 2 - came in to pick up a bag of sun chips. looked up and down chip aisle and saw none of them in the usual spot. passed by red shirt and asked if he had any back stock of them. he looked at me and pointed to the aisle i just came from. rude. then i insisted that he lead me to where it would be and gave me the stare as he was trying to finish up his task

update - this store is still constantly out of various grocery items. seems the people at the home office no longer look at their metrics for this location. they can't seem to figure out the 101s of supply/demand. i constantly have things left unchecked on my daily shopping list and would have to drive to another location or competitor

this is one of the worst targets of the north suburbs. during spring '20 covid lockdown, they hardly ever have disinfectant wipes for guests for shoppers. they're still constantly out of stock in essentials that nearby stores are in ample of such as water, paper towels, toilet tissues, wipes. during busy periods there are little guidance to manage long lines, especially during early lockdown weeks, making an unpleasant...

So first off, I work at Target. I understand how the registers work and I know protocol when a guest needs assistance. I was purchasing almost $80 of merchandise with 3 gift cards and a wallet payment. The cashier rung me up and attempted to make my payment on my cartwheel wallet when she insisted I could not pay that way, that I would need to put my giftcards in the app to use them with cartwheel, however, because i work at target i know there is a way to do so without adding it to the app. (I have been ill so i completely forgot to add them before I checked out) I tried to explain to the cashier that she need only return to the prevoius screen but instead she took my payment entirely on the card without my gift cards and kept insisting i had to add them to the app. She basically shoved the cards towards me along with my receipt and that was it. I was so frustrated, not because i was having issues but because she blatantly refused to allow me to speak. I would have gladly stepped out of line and added my cards for it to be easier for her, but her disrespect and pushy attitude ruined my visit. The service desk people were wonderful however, i went there immediately after and added the cards and had them fix the transaction, for the record, one of them knew exactly what i was talking about when i mentioned the gift cards transaction thing. I was just so upset at that cashier. I have never EVER treated a guest the way she treated me. Even if we were busy, every guest gets the same assistance as...

So sorry but have to update my review :(

I will leave what I originally said below, but have to edit review to one star for most recent customer service in the starbucks in this store. Ordered a large latte, received a medium. Instead of seamlessly just remaking the drink, the cashier argued with me and said to the barista ā€œNO, she SAID medium.ā€ Lol! After that she argued with why do I even need a Venti size and how there’s not much difference. She then brought me back over and made me get a refund for the medium and re-ring the Venti all while sighing exasperated and annoyed the entire time. It was crazy! Sadly never saw the awesome barista and cashier I listed named Theresa again. I only ever see the same two workers. Mind you the barista was fine but that’s not saying much unless in compare to the other worker. The cashier was berserk. They sell starbucks products/drinks but do not follow starbucks standards of just plain good customer service. The price difference was like .30 cents. Like, chill out.

Original review with 5 stars: ā€œTheresa in the Starbucks of this Target has absolutely amazing customer service! You are lucky to have her at your store and we’re all lucky to ever be helped by her! Way to go being awesome, Theresa of Fridley Tarbux!! Thank you for making a customer’s day!! So genuinely warm and caring not to mention helpful. She makes you feel seen and connects with...

We’ve started dreading coming here. I should have known this trip wouldn’t be any better after seeing they didn’t even know what lemons are (See first picture). These specifics are from just ONE recent visit, but the problems here are problematic. They are always out of items that require you stop at someplace else. ā€œTarget Runā€? More like a frustrating slog. First, they didn’t have jalapenos, so I had to search the produce/grocery section for at least three minutes to find someone I could talk to. Guy stocking meat ran in back and came out with box I could grab some from a few minutes later. Take a look at that sad milk selection (photo #2). Couldn’t find anyone on floor to ask. Walked over to a kiosk for help, but it was out of order. Finally ran after a red shirt and she disappeared in the back for several minutes to find what I needed. These two employees were excellent and went out of their way to help. I really appreciate that, but even they were saying they don’t have the staff to do everything. All management seems to do is stand around the check out lanes (Of which only are few are ever open. Self check-out always has 2-3 out of order.) chatting with each other while the lines get ever longer. The aisles are junked up with sales displays as well. Target is becoming our last resort instead of a first choice.

I've had enough, I hate this target. I can forgive the constant low stock, even though I can't even count how often I'll go to pick up milk and it's out of stock. Fault myself for poor produce. But, I can't get past the years of just horrible customer service. Went in to get chocolate milk and Fairfax milk. Out of stock. I ask two employees, both say whatever is on the shelf is all we have. I ask if they can check the back, they said no. I explain to them, the last four times in a row someone checked for me and they had them in stock, can they check? Like robots they both said, I don't work in that department, but they put everything out every morning. (If they don't work in that department how do they know the back stock?) Last four times in a row someone checked it was stocked on the back and not out. Every time I've asked for assistance they're just so useless. Only nice employee is the lady that welcomes people with a smile. I don't buy frozen food but I've been astonished by the low stock when I go check for chocolate milk, which is also always out of stock. I'll pay more at cub.

Pricing at this store is horribly unreliable and you pay higher at the register than what it is priced at on the shelf. Tonight I was owed over $5.00 due to items not ringing up at the price listed on the shelf. The staff were nice about it and didn't contest anything but I find it terribly dishonest and wrong because customers are making the decision to buy based on the shelf price and with a big order it is impossible to keep a separate tally going as you check out. It is sad as I really used to like coming to this store but over the last year it has really gone downhill. I don't like feeling like I have to watch every item to see if it rings up right or if Target is going to be pocketing an extra dollar here or three dollars there off me every time I shop.
