Centennial is such a wonderful park. It has something for everyone. It has a paved walking area around Lake (about 2.6 miles total). Many hiking trails are also present. Plenty of benches for resting to just to take in the beautiful views. Plenty of green grass for those who want to picnic on a blanket, read a book, or throw a frisbee. There are covered pavilions (hold from 10 - 115 people) with grills and some with fireplaces and volleyball courts. They also have one mega Pavillion (H) that holds about 300 people and has its own parking lot, playground, baseball field, & volleyball court (rents for $990 for ho co residents and $1025 for non residents). These pavillion can be rented through Howard County Rec & Parks. Park has 2 large playgrounds, tennis courts, basketball courts, boat rentals, public restrooms, and fishing area. Fantastic place to bring family, including your fur babies.

We visited this park for weekend and we had one event there that we had to attend it. The park is really good they pick up trash can with golf car. They keep park clean. This park also have boating, playing area for kids, barbecues grill, and bench. I love to visit this place again. However, they should have map in entrance of park that we can know area and parking is very less. I have been there few times. I also have to struggle for parking my car.

Its a nice, and BIG pavilion. There is plenty of space to fit more than 100 people inside the pavilion. Theres much more space outside of the pavilion to setup canopies. They have a flat top grill and sink. There are also restrooms nearby. There's a playground for the kids and horshoe pits for the big kids. Also a volleyball court, basketball court and tennis courts nearby.

This is the biggest pavilion in the centennial park. Available by reservation commonly, but the area around it is free for all to enjoy. There are tennis courts, horseshoes, a playground, bathrooms, grills, basketball, and a volleyball court. It's legit a big space and the parking lot is fairly large. If you have a full on event in the pavilion to max capacity you won't have enough parking right there but folks can park in the main centennial entrance and walk around the park path to get there. Overall great, but the parking situation makes it difficult for very large groups. Otherwise you're...

This place was extremely extraordinary. Very beautiful peaceful place with plenty of space to do whatever you could think of. We had a football game, soccer game, zumba, basketball game, tennis game, and a three mile walk going on all at the same time with plenty of space leftover! The pavilion upkeep was great and they had clean grills and plenty of seats under the pavilion for company events with an area for a dj. This is by far the best pavilion in the area maybe in Maryland! Great job Centennial...
