Hi! I would like to say how rude the service here was. I made a mistake with my order and the baker who was building the pizza did not want to exchange the pizza without me paying for another one. He said if that was the case then he would always give away free pizza to every customer who makes mistakes with their order. I told him he could take the pizza home and he said nobody eats gluten free. As if having a gluten free allergy was a problem. I told him itâs fresh, I didnât even touch the pizza .
Anyways, I have a gluten free allergy and the pizza was gluten free but I needed it without cheese. I came from far to get this pizza not realizing that I forgot to mention no sauce. Not a big deal and the baker made me feel so insecure and weak because of my mistake. If you have an allergy and you make a mistake please donât come to this place. I believe that even though it was a mistake, they should be more warm and accommodating. Itâs a shame. This was very hurtful Iâve never had someone treat me this way before. Mistakes happen and as a customer I shouldnât have to pay again. I understand them not wanting to take the fresh pizza back but at least being more understanding with my situation.
At the end he did made a new pizza for me which I appreciate but the treatment already wasnât the same for me. We ended up talking about my diet in more...

I've been to the location in King's Contrivance and I love their food. Only issue is it's a little far from me.
I had no idea they had 3 total locations and this one is very close by. This location is about standard size for a pizza place.
I visited this location Sunday night, 4/2/2023, at 7pm. I called ahead to order their Combo pizza, and was told it would be about a 16 minute wait. I intended to pick it up and take it home, but there was seating inside and the owner was more than happy to switch it to dine in.
The pie came out right on time. The crust was NY style, in that it was thin but could hold its structure. The exterior of the crust had a crisp to it, and the interior had a very nice chew.
The sauce wasn't acidic, which is an issue with processed, low-quality / inferior sauces. The sauce here tasted fresh and vibrant. Not too sweet which was perfect. The cheese had a lot of flavor and fantastic pull.
For toppings we had extra cheese on the whole pie, Hawaiian on one side and Pepperoni & Italian sausage on the other side. The toppings were of good quality and complimented the pizza well.
They have other dishes they serve besides pizza. I'm for sure...
Read moreLast fall, we had a soccer tournament in Columbia and decided to try this local hot spot. We absolutely LOVED our experience. Our team had just finished three games and were a little restless. The owner, instead of reprimanding them for their loudness due to excitement, joined them. He sang songs with them, asked about the tournament, and made us feel extremely welcomed. He made us feel like family so much so that we decided to have them cater our spring soccer tournament. The only hiccup was they werenât going to be opened at lunch time Sunday.
The owner, remembering us from last time, opened his restaurant early just for us!! He prepared all the food ahead of time, so all I had to do was pick it up and drive to a familyâs house.
I am so thankful for Amore. Did I mention the food is phenomenal? (I highly recommend the gnocchi with pesto, tortellini Rosario, and the white pizza.) The food will get you in the door of this place, but the family feel and kind atmosphere will keep you coming back again and again.
We will see you again soon! Thank...
