I love walking around this loop with family. It's shady in spots, so do-able even in the summer heat. Autumn is the best season to come. Beautiful fall colors everywhere. It's a great place to take pictures of people for events, I regularly see wedding photographers and couples walking the loop. Best place to park is the lot in front of Whole Foods. Just put Whole Foods, Columbia in your GPS, then walk down the stairs to the waterfront and loop path. It's a great distance with a paved path for the entire loop.
