This is a really nice park. 1st time attending a baseball game there. Seats for all budgets. They follow the clear bag policy. Found out after the fact you can bring in a sealed water bottle or an empty refillable water bottle & you can get it filled once inside. Plenty of food & drink options. The only downside was took my 3 year old granddaughter to see the 2 Paw Patrol characters as it was Paw Patrol night. When we finally saw a line growing we knew which direction to head as there were no signs that we saw telling us where to go. The characters were to be out from 630pm to 830pm. We got in line about 635. We were informed we probably would not make it to front of line before the characters had to take 1st break @ 645. Now mind you it was hot so I totally understand taking breaks as must be very uncomfortable wearing those costumes in the heat. So they were out 15 minutes or so & then were told they were taking break until 715. Well 715 came & went. They finally came back out at 730. We stood in line for an hour in the heat for a minute of character time. Not the issue as I expected to wait in line. Issue is this, in line we were told they would be back @ 715 & 715 came & went. They finally arrived to a very long line. Not sure why after only 15 minutes they needed a 45 minute break. Did not seem there was any consideration for all the parents, grandparents & children etc. that had been waiting in the hot sun for that 1 minute of joy they were there to give to the kids. I do not know if the entire line was able to get their moment with the characters or not. It was a disappointing experience to say the least. Suggestion would be to provide a more shady area if that's possible. Also if there is a schedule it should be followed. I probably would not venture out to this kind of event based on this experience. But if your looking for a decent place to see a ball game then check out the Firefly Stadium. You won't be...

Read moreBeautiful Park....poor customer service once in the park. I loved the trolley shuttle and was looking forward to a great family-friendly first-time experience at the park. Unfortunately, that wasn't what we received once in the park. It was our first time seeing the Fireflies. Our seats were near the railing. My son stood up and went over to railing to hopefully catch a ball. One of park's staff named Laura walked up to my 7 year old and told him that he better stay seated or she personally would see to it that he got put out of the park if he didn't obey. I WAS FLOORED! He wasn't being disruptive, yelling or hanging over the railing like other children we saw nearby; he was waiting hoping that one of the fly balls would come his way. He hadn't been near the rail a good 5 minutes before she came over. I could see if there were previous warnings--there weren't! We just got there!!! There were no rules posted and since we both were new to the park, we didn't know there was a protocol about standing near the railing. I was upset and my son was very upset. He was in tears and kept repeating to me that he didn't know and that he was just waiting for the ball. What I couldn't understand was why she spoke to my son and not to me--his parent--since I was right there in very close proximity. We left the park early before the game ended. I saw her as we were leaving and let her know that I understood safety concerns, but the threats were totally uncalled for. This was just not a good...
