Edit: I'll leave my original review up because that aspect hasn't changed. However, today I was in there with my wife and after leaving we were a block or so down the road and a pregnant woman in need of food came up to us. My wife and I walked in with her and let this woman stand in line ordering. She was sweet and kept asking what all she could get and we told her anything she wanted. I think she was overwhelmed and one of the employees not only was rushing her, but yelled at us to not buy food for people in need again! For a business that claims to be so Christ-centric your behavior to us and people in need was horrific.
35 For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in,(A) 36 I needed clothes and you clothed me,(B) I was sick and you looked after me,(C) I was in prison and you came to visit me.’(D)
37 “Then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? 38 When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? 39 When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?’
40 “The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’
Matthew 25: 35-40
No Name Deli has been around as long as I can remember. The line at lunch time is always long, but the staff is so quick that you rarely feel like you've ever waited. The food is phenomenal. They have such a wide variety of food that you can get something different every time and not get bored, and it's all good. They have a famous, and delicious, Greek salad. The atmosphere is just a classic deli. It's a staple of Columbia and you should definitely eat here if you're...

10 more years later. I tried no name again after not being here for 10 years still with the idea that it serves the best pimento cheese sandwich on the East Coast and I was let down all over again. Maybe I'm just being nostalgic and remembering the past better than it was but something about this place has changed for the worst. Frankly I think pre-made pimento cheese might have been better and I could have turned it into a better sandwich. And the prices have gone up from moderate to expensive. Who's to say what will happen in 10 years but the way it looks this will be my last visit.
Old Review: Used to be much better about 10 years ago and I haven't been at the place since around 2004. Seems to have changed owners since the really hyper man who always manned the register wasn't there yesterday. The food just wasn't as good as it once was. It wasn't bad and the menu was pretty much the same. The restaurant was exactly the same- same hectic line, same lovely mural on the wall, same delicious flavored teas. I'll tell you what was different though that I really didn't like and would keep me away if I lived here still:. The soup was WAY too salty and what's with the Bible verses on the...
Read more⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️This place was recommended to me. The parking lot was full, which made me think a lot of people liked it! It was kinda small and crowded, but with a pleasant bunch of happily returning customers. I asked those around me for recommendations and everyone had a favorite, but many had enjoyed several different items over time. I decided to get a chicken salad sandwich. I watched the workers behind the counter executing the orders in an extremely effective and efficient fashion, very quickly and correctly. They were non-stop. I was super impressed by how quickly and smoothly the line filed through, and no one got impatient. I ordered to-go, so after squeezing my way out, I found a quiet spot near a park to eat. It was the best chicken salad sandwich I've had in a long time. Chunks of chicken, eggs and a slightly sweet flavor, and big! With a great kosher dill spear and a slice of delicious lemon meringue pie... yummy! And I still had half a sandwich for supper! Great...
