Y'all, Iâm all about supporting local businesses, but this place?
Wow. Unbelievable.
The customer service is so bad, they've practically made it an art form.
We walk in, and while I donât need a sales associate breathing down my neck, a simple âHey, let us know if you need anythingâ wouldnât have killed them. But nope, not a word.
[Gestures dramatically toward the reviews] See the pattern here? Nice to online and phone customers, but if you dare walk through the door?
Crickets.
Itâs like they collectively forgot how to interact with live humans.
And before anyone says âmaybe they were busy,â oh no, they werenât. We counted: three guys around the desk doing their best impression of mannequins if we looked their way, and two others unloading things cuttin' up and laughing like it was some exclusive club where talking to customers was against the rules. Just a bunch of bros, kickinâ it like theyâre in their buddyâs drive with the garage open âminus the beer (I assume).
You think maybe theyâve all hit the jackpot and donât actually need sales? Who knows?
Two stars because we did eventually walk over and go stood at the desk until someone finished their conversation (and yes they made eye contact, hard weird eye contact even while they kept on talking not unlike the way my dog does taking a poo) and was willing to acknowledge our existence (owner even!), and we placed an order.
Butâshockerâno one ever called us when it arrived. Itâs been three months. Three. Months.
So back in December (two months prior to this writing), we took our business to Campbellsville and dropped $5K on Stihl products (shop vac, extenders, tree trimmers, sawsâyou name it). And today? I'm lovingly wondering about my bros at The Appliance Store as weâre off to Elizabethtown to drop another $10K (+) on kitchen appliances for our remodel.
But hey, hope the bros keep enjoying their little clubhouse. Weâll be out here giving our money to businesses that...

I called in to get someone to come look at them and they were so hateful. Very disrespectful. You always think shopping local would be better than big retailers like Loweâs but let me tell you itâs not! Probably a lot worse.    Read moreI've purchased 3 new appliances from these guys but not because they have earned my business but rather they were closer than the competition. I have no problems with the appliances they sell but it's about the additude of almost everyone that works there. Very rude people and they really don't care about a repeat customer. I'll drive the extra 20 miles next time I need anything because they have such poor additudes. I was in the store and heard them talking about a woman as she was going out the door like a dog and she had just spent several thousands with them.
