The Lace House at Arsenal Hill — Attraction in Columbia

I cannot imagine having our wedding anywhere else. The Lace House is one of the most beautiful and intricate wedding venues in the state and is very reasonably priced. While the house and patio area (which we used for our reception) are included in the rental price, the surrounding garden spaces are additional add-on rentals. We added on the Ceremony Garden for our ceremony and the Arbor Garden for our seated dinner and still came in under budget for our venue. Even better - you and your guests can roam all of the grounds and gardens, you only need to pay to add them on if you plan to add chairs, tables, or other rentals on the space which is great for allowing your guests to explore the grounds and also for photo opportunities. The Lace House staff, especially Sarah, were all so pleasant to interact with - they are very responsive, informative, flexible, thoughtful, and will always find out an answer to your questions. Throughout our planning process we had multiple staff members reach out to communicate deadlines and just to check-in to see how we were doing and if we had any questions. The Lace House is a natural beauty with very rich history and is impeccably preserved. You can save on decor rental items as you really don't need to enhance the already perfect space. We had a 100 person wedding and every single guest has commented on how beautiful of a venue it is . I would highly recommend the Lace House. Our wedding was one of the many that was affected by covid in 2020. We started planning in 2019 and we finally were able have our way in 2021. The Lace House staff went above and beyond during the ENTIRE process. They kept in touch the entire time and checked in on us. They were super supportive especially when it came to actually having to postpone. This staff actually cares about the people who are renting from them. I cannot say enough good things about our experience it was all amazing! The day of they were beyond helpful with setting up and even when they saw people dressed up they complimented you. The Lace House is the most beautiful wedding venue I had ever seen and having my wedding there was a dream come true. The gardens are beautiful and photos don't do it justice to show how expansive and beautiful they are. Everyone I worked with was so lovely and answered any and all questions I had. The getting ready spaces were so perfect and I loved using as many spaces of the property as I could. The side patio for dancing is so magical and the wedding garden is stunning for a ceremony.
