Bricker Multipurpose Building — Attraction in Columbus

The facility was structurally fine. A bit aged, not well maintained outside. The management of the building needs to be addressed as their decisions are baffling. A crowded event taking place in the bldg. uet they have no AC on, no ventilation or fans so everyone is hot and sweating seen a couple little ones getting over heated and they also had the bright idea to close the Lansford inside the facility during the event and instead offer a few John's outside... in the smoking area. Seriously. Folks in wheelchairs and children and infants and the only facilities offered are a few porta-johns out amid the smoke. I feel for the parents of the infants cause they were left either trekking back to their car for a diaper change or else try to do on the floor near a wall trying to stay out of the way. Visited the home and garden show it was smaller than normal due to covid. I've been to the show many times. It is usually in two buildings. With that said it definitely wasn't the same, there obviously wasn't as much as normal. It wasn't bad just not as good. The gardens were still awesome. The vendors still tried doing the best they could. The ones selling food were not giving any samples there was no food court only a couple vending machines for pop. And if you don't drink pop you weren't getting anything. One of the gardens had huge slabs of bedrock making a retaining wall, the path they made had some amazing bluestone pavers. All of the blooming flowers smelled amazing and definitely made you wish for spring and warmer weather. All in all not bad i'm glad they opened back up but hopefully next year they are...

The Bricker multi-purpose building has been around for what seems like forever as long as I can remember. Anyways. It's huge. It's very well maintained, they do have a decent amount of restrooms throughout the building. If you go during any event they typically will have. A food court area open that offers a few different items. I know during the State Fair it's usually filled with a whole bunch of different vendors, I've been there for the equine affair and again it's filled with shopping. Shopping.
