SERVICE & CHECKIN Big NO on early checkin (unless you're extremely lucky), but everyone was exceedingly professionally & attentive during my wait. A much warmer vibe than most Marriotts & prompt on phone service. The welcome gift was also just what I needed: cold water & a king size Twix! 😯 No late checkout though--they sell out quick!

LOBBY, ELEVATOR, CORRIDORS Jazzy tunes & a pleasing decor throughout the building; I really liked the vintage patterned halls. The cleaning standards were exemplary but their dining area could use a reupholstering. Elevators provided a good amount of space & speediness, the rickety rattling was just a tad unsettling

ROOM (suite) https://youtu.be/P049-JVEoKk A lot of character in the design: Adequate natural lighting, well-positioned sleek lamps, a fun carpet pattern, & perfectly curated wallpaper. Dimensions were generously spacious (for 2) with enough hanging + drawer storage for an extended stay. A calming aesthetic that felt comfortable & familiar 😌. The dedicated workspace setup was very productive as well. HVAC/air circulation needs improvement: there was a lingering musk/must odor & I didn't have the luxury of functional windows; AC isn't properly tuned if you find yourself freezing on 70+ 🄶.

BED Double Queen configuration. This Serta line wasn't a "wow!", but it did what it's supposed to. The springs are nearing end-of-life, so support was very minimal. Bedding was clean & of fair quality: 60/40 cotton blend. Pillow fill (down) lacks loft, so you'll want to stack these for maximum comfort.

BATH Medium sized bathroom featuring a stylist tile selection & clever paneling. Substantially worn in some areas but that didn't subtract from the experience. Traditional combination shower bathing experience provided with designer bath products (Alice+Co) & PLENTY of towels + toiletries. Water pressure, temperature, & ventilation were adequate.

TV & ENTERTAINMENT Really unbalanced. The Samsung TV was just too small, especially for a double mattress configuration. Universal remote selection was an Enseo... the ergonomics just don't feel right to me. Basic cable & the usual Marriott Streaming integrations are available (Netflix, YouTube, etc).

WI-FI & CELL RECEPTION Between good & average on carrier (Verizon) reception. Free unencrypted WiFi is available. As far as value goes...: It works. Not much more to say beyond that. --Performance-- Video streaming - bad Online gaming - poor Video chatting - poor --Nerd Stats-- 9-11 Mbps download 9-11 Mbps upload 0% packet loss 37 ms latency 69 ms jitter

FOOD & DRINK DoorDash friendly. A large breakfast offering from 630-930 with a lot of convenience food offerings on site as well: mini market, artisan coffee bar. There are plenty of chain restaurants within walking distance too. In-room amenities included a mini microwave, medium mini fridge, & instant coffee bar. Ice machines accessible on guest floors. ā—ļøDon't forget to check-in on Yelp for a free item from the mini market! ā—ļø

NOISE The building design & materials used means this could go either way... but my stay was peaceful & quiet. YMMV. Avoid a room by the ice machine & book a top floor if you're noise sensitive.

LOCATION Easily accessible highway, IHOP across the parking lot (!), & interesting views. The area was mostly secluded & felt safe enough.

VERDICT Artisans of hospitality. The hospitality really took this experience to the next level for me. Good accommodations + an exemplary level of training & talent in customer service. I would absolutely stay here again & highly recommend this...

Well, first of all the friendly, responsive nature of the staff members always makes me feel welcome and glad to be there. And then there’s manager Sarah James who’s smile and happy, friendly disposition always makes me want to come back to stay here while I’m in town! I’m sure her leadership has a lot to do with why things run so smoothly and the vibe there is always so positive at this Fairfield inn, Columbus Dublin. She’s so balanced in her approach when working with guests as well as with the other staff members, I’ve noticed. She’s smart and bright and witty and it just makes all the difference for me when I am making my choice of where to stay! Also, I just love the rooms and how they are set up… The rolling desk chair is comfortable and lightweight so I like to sit in it in front of the big window to watch the sunrise on the east side of the building. I’m always accommodated when I request a room on that east side so that I can enjoy my sunrise as I’m prepping for my day! The artwork is cool… The beds and their bedspreads are really comfortable and I like the options of the different types of pillows to enjoy. Very very comfortable! The walk in shower and the big shower head with never ending hot hot water.. feels elegant and kind of ā€˜spa like’ to me ..so I always enjoy that. WiFi runs smoothly. Finally, I must say, the free continental breakfast is pretty impressive! And I loved this last time enjoying the delicious pot of homemade oatmeal to scoop from with all of the side fixings like brown sugar, crunchy thin almond slices and dried cranberries and apricots to personalize my oatmeal breakfast. So yummy! Thank you, I always enjoy...

My husband and I booked 4 nights here in a Standard King room and ended up leaving one night early due to how uncomfortable the bed was among a few other things. I'll try to list the pros and cons to make it easier. Pros: -The hotel was clean, the room was clean, and the color scheme was very inviting and happy. -The bathroom was amazing and the shower was the only saving grace of this room. -Location was good, lot of food places around and quick access to highway. -Pillows were comfortable.

Cons: -They listed this room with a King bed, we have a king size bed at home and this was NOT a true king. We did end up measuring it and it in fact is a Narrow King according to Google (also, the only Narrow Kings we can find are for RV's). When we brought this up to the front desk, they were EXTREMELY dismissive and said it was the largest bed available. We would not have been so upset if the room was described accurately and the bed size was accurate. If you want a TRUE KING, do NOT book here. -The bed was like sleeping on concrete; I have never in my life slept on more uncomfortable bed. We both woke up every single day in pain and you can tell they're VERY cheap mattresses. If you like extra, extra firm mattresses, this might be for you. My husband said he has slept on 10x more comfortable beds at Motel 6. -The pool was mediocre at best. -Some of the front desk staff were quite pleasant, but others were downright rude and dismissive of concerns.

All in all, we would NOT stay here again and wanted to address the false advertising on the bed size as we would not have booked this hotel if we had known the true...

This is an excellent hotel - as long as you don’t rely on the internet to work during your stay. The staff are very friendly. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The gym is sufficient for a decent workout and the breakfast is nice. However, I was continually frustrated with the poor internet connection. I needed to attend classes on Zoom for my graduate program. Upon joining the guest network, there was no option to select the enhanced internet plan. With a quick Google search, I managed to upgrade to the enhanced network. But, after no improvement in internet speeds, I contacted Marriott’s tech support. The employee did his best to help but nothing improved, so I called again the next day. Again, nothing improved. With ā€œenhanced high-speedā€ internet, I expect to be able to use a VPN and Zoom with no problems, but the internet connection froze about every five minutes. At its worst, it wouldn’t even load a YouTube video. Marriott needs to update their website to inform the public that there is no high-speed internet available at this hotel. Hotel - 4/5 Internet- 2/5 UPDATE: The general manager reached out personally to me to apologize for the issues with the internet. The staff are excellent at this hotel!

Very disappointed in our room. While the room was nice and clean, we were told before we booked when I called to ask about our room they confirmed the king bed was separate from the pull out couch and sitting area when its own private door and room. Also we were told that the pull out couch bed was a full size. Also the king bed was not comfortable. Very firm! Both confirmed by the hotel were not true upon getting our room. The pull out couch bed was a twin size and the king bed was in the same room as the pull out couch. We are a family and our kids were sleeping on the couch. Only 1 of our kids slept on the couch bed and unfortunately the other on the floor. I’m sorry I’m not paying for an hotel for my child to sleep on the floor! Luckily enough we make a comfy bed on the floor with enough blankets and pillows! The free breakfast was good! Although the hotel itself was great the room at the price I paid was not what we were told it was. I will not book at this specific hotel again, as it won’t work for our family. I guess you have to double and triple check before booking! :(
