ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE!!!! On the 4th of July my fiance and I went to the big sandy store in Dublin Ohio. We were looking for a gas range to purchase because the warranty company said that ours was no good. The first impression I got when I walked in the store was no one wanted to help us I didn't know if it was because I was military because I was wearing my military gear or if it was because we were an interracial couple. After walking around a half an hour we left the store and got in our car and called the store to complain about what just happened. A manager met us in the store and told us that he would take care of it and the behavior of the six cells people were inexcusable. As it turns out they were not able to sell the high-end equipment that we were looking for there is only one salesperson that was able to do that. Would have been great to know that up front. That cell went good we ended up buying an $8,000 thermador gas range. After talking to another manager I thank them for making it right and apologizing for what had happened. We decided to try our luck in buying furniture. We found a sectional and we ordered it and when it was delivered it was damaged. One of the delivery people said the Big Sandy would offer us 5% off to keep the broken furniture. Hell no! Don't insult me. They took the furniture back and while we waited for the replacement we decided we didn't want the furniture so we sent it all back. We ordered a different sectional which we thought was perfect it was delivered on time it was set up. We decided we needed two extra pieces in the sectional because our room was too big for the sectional. They sent me a link to their credit card payment system. I put in my credit card information and I kept failing well I called my bank and asked what was going on USAA as most of you military people know are usually on top of their game and they figure things out pretty quick especially when it comes to civilian merchants. The transaction that went through USAA but for some reason Big Sandy superstore couldn't see the transaction. So we did the transaction all over again mind you I have a delivery date of Wednesday. Tuesday I called to find out when my furniture is going to be delivered and lo and behold we haven't set up a delivery date yet because we just got your payment yesterday. After all I've been through I told him to keep it and I will be sending the rest of the furniture back and I will never step foot in that store again.Take what you want from this story but ask yourself how many chances do you give a store before you throw your hands up and say enough is enough. My brothers and sisters of the uniform beware of this store in Dublin. I have no experience with any other sore but the store in Dublin.

Read moreVERY DISAPPOINTED. My husband and I financed a couch, tv (free with couch), and mattress in March. Dave the supervisor and MK the sales rep were the two we were working with. We were told by Dave that the couch was not in stock currently but that was fine with us since we were finishing our basement and wouldn’t need it until July or August. We were told we could have it all delivered at that time which we were very pleased to hear. We even asked if there was a chance of it being discontinued or not being held for us but was reassured that it was locked in and would be notified of changes. Payments also did not have to be started until it was delivered. We first got a text about them forgetting to add the free tv to the order. Then started getting text from MK about our delivery being set for June which that is not what was agreed on (we put down late July). Then texted us asking for payment in full before delivery which is not right because we are financing. She responded with oh if that’s the case then you are good. (Like did you even look at our account at all?!?) We just recently asked if we could set delivery for August due to a delay in our basement being ready. She told us that is not a problem but there could be a chance that the couch could get discontinued but would update us every 2 weeks to let us know. We assumed we would be told to we would have to get it delivered early if they were running low on stock (which we would of 100% done if we had to) but we unfortunately were never informed of this and just received a text from MK that the couch was discontinued. We called the store and talked to MK directly who could only apologize and say there’s nothing she could do on her end. She even put me on hold to talk to Dave but never offered me to talk to him as he is a supervisor and I was clearly upset! I then asked if that means the TV is also no longer available even if we go with another option. She said correct, if it was apart of the couch deal then it is no longer included. This is infuriating at it this point. There was no incentive offered whatsoever. It was terrible communication considering every time we got a text, the details in the text were incorrect information about our account. This was over a $3000 order that we expected to be handled appropriately and carefully. After going around in circles and getting nowhere I asked for the finance of this order to be all cancelled. We don’t even want to get the mattress though them at this point. We are taking our business elsewhere and hope we are taken...
Read moreOur 12 year old Bosch 500 Series dishwasher was in need of expensive repairs that didn't make economic sense. We called Big Sandy at Dublin, Ohio and were immediately routed to Drew. He was super knowledgeable about the newest Bosch lines, and recommended the new 800 series which has amazing drying technology. We came in, he showed us the product, and made a recommendation for their 5-year warranty which is a no-brainer because if you don't use it, your full price is refunded after 5 years. He arranged for the delivery, installation and removal of the old dishwasher. Our delivery and installation is set for this coming Friday. We expect the same professional service from the installers as we found with the sales personnel. One key feature that distinguishes Big Sandy is they have their own service department so you have continuity with sales and service. We bought a Samsung refrigerator some years ago from Lowes, and soon had real problems with the system that is supposed to maintain heat to keep the frost-free feature operating properly. We called Lowes and the sales rep we dealt with brushed us off rudely and told us we had to deal with Samsung in California directly. A quick Google search revealed that this defect in the frost-free system, where it ices up and causes water to pool in the crisper bins, was well known to Samsung. They were rude on the phone and tried to weasel out of the warranty on the grounds that this defect wasn't covered by the extended warranty on operating systems. They finally relented, but by then we were exhausted and vowed never to buy any appliance from Lowes again. And we haven't. Fortunately, we found Big Sandy to be the polar opposite of Lowes and can't recommend...
