So I have come here a few times for a massage. I tell everyone about this place cause I have always had a good experience until today. So I got the 60 minute full body. Previous, I’ve had the 90 minute full body. I could be confused, but I don’t think I am as this isn’t my first massage here nor first massage place. They massage my back my shoulders, my lower legs with lotion/oil and then when I rolled over, they only did my arms, my neck in my face. Then only massaged my legs through the towel and I felt like it was a rushed decision because I heard the timer go off. I just find it weird that they would massage the back of my legs with lotion and not the top of my legs. Anywhere else and even here Ive always had the top of my thighs rubbed with lotion and oil which I really needed because my legs are sore from weightlifting .The guy was rough and I don’t mean rough as in like too deep because I’m down with the deep tissue. like he was just rough handling altogether. I wasn’t fully satisfied with my massage because as I just stated, I feel the end of my massage was not complete. On my previous 90 minute massage and my foot massage I have always tipped because they both were great. I work in the service industry and I feel you should tip when you’re satisfied and I was not satisfied. I felt my massage was not completed or what I paid for. So I did not tip. And they tried to force me to tip them. He literally called me back in to ask about a tip called another lady up there to tell me to tip him and that’s not how tipping works. Kind of disappointed with the experience since I’ve had such good...
Read moreWent on New Year’s Eve to get some help with stiff back and legs from a project I’m doing and poor sleeping conditions.
I Scheduled a two hour massage online for later in the day after I’d be done working. Being a possible holiday I called ahead to verify appointment and they confirmed it. I drove the 1 1/2 hours to get there and it was the best decision I made all year.
The way I tell the legitimate Asian massage from the “rub & tugs” is whether or not they ask for payment up front, they didn’t. She verified I wanted 2 hours and what issues I had before going to the room.
When she came in she went right to work exactly where I wanted and worked out all the knots and sore spots, verifying pressure occasionally.
Wish I would have gotten her name but, I was so relaxed I forgot. Normally I would go to Zanesville which is half the distance but, it was half the quality. Another difference was the tip I added, which was very good and always based on quality of service, was appreciated and she was saying Thank You. The other places are usually saying more, more, that’s what they need to do, more.
Thanks again for a WONDERFUL & RELAXING experience and I’ll try to make it back before...
Read moreI really like this place and have visited three times. The staff is friendly, the place is clean, and you can't beat the price. Three things to note: If you're looking for a massage therapist with in-depth, physiological knowledge for a specific problem this may not be right for you. That said, this is an all around great way to pamper yourself and get those knots out of your fascia. Also, you may be out in the open getting your tootsies massaged (fully clothed, of course). *Wear pants you can easily roll up to the knee. Everyone is quiet and is respectful of the vibe. For full body massage they do have curtained-off rooms. Lastly, avoid the credit card fee and pay cash. And tip 20% if everything was to your liking! BONUS: Bubble tea...
